Serving fresh, locally and ethically sourced produce, focusing on fish and seafood, lovingly prepared to our customers from near & far.
The Hive Pavilion with wrap-around patio & a seasonal addition of the Top Marquee each offering far-reaching sea views and evening sunsets to each table.
Check in on arrival will be at the front desk in our main marquee. Please note at peak times there may be a slight delay on arrival for your table. Booked tables will be available for the time you have reserved, early access will not be permitted.

    Beautiful location sat overlooking the sea. Food was fabulous and service spot on.

    Fantastic location with great food and fast friendly service. Always come to the beach here for a walk and often get a drink in the cafe but decided to give it a try for our evening meal, and we weren’t disappointed. Shame we are not local and were only on holiday, but regardless we will be back next time in Dorset.

    Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Good service with delicious food. It is an amazing place. Will come again. Many times!

    Fantastic food and fantastic service at a lovely location. Really tasty fresh fish and the staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help you! Will be back again!

    Loved our dinner on Saturday night. Loved the laid back atmosphere and great food. Such a fabulous location - right by be sea. The staff are all young and extremely attentive and good ! Not easy to find staff and they are all excellent. Would highly recommend for some fresh fish and lovely wine or beer .. we look forward to coming back when we next visit Dorset.

    The Hive is a firm family favourite. Whenever we are in the area we will always ensure there is time to visit. The fish and chips are amazing and leaves me wishing that I could get them closer to home. I had the plaice this time round and it was superb.
