Excellent sushi, great service, open during the afternoon, wonderful happy hour and very reasonable prices
We just moved to this neighborhood and Hiroshima Sushi is now one of our favorite local restaurants.
Good food and good service at reasonable prices. We like to go there.
Good neighborhood place for a night of run of the mill sushi. Good value, good service, and good quality.
This is our usual local favorite sushi place. Right by grand central and usually quiet. Great food and service and they let you sit to talk as long as you want!
Le serveur a eu le culot de nous rapporter notre tip en nous disant qu’il fallait donner 15% de la note, ce qui s’élevait à 7$ or nous avions laissé 5$.
Great food but not a hygienic restaurant, sticky tables and dirty floors.
Fish was good but not a refined sushi spot. It’s small and seems to do a brisk take out business.
Just what we needed. Good sushi in a low key atmosphere with friendly staff. Family Friendly!
This is the best Sushi place in NYC! We have been going there for years and it has really been a go to place for nights out.
Nothing particularly memorable but decent food and reasonable prices
Come mai gli edamame costavano 6 dollari invece che 5 come segnalato su opentable?
Excellent. Wonderful sushi!
We were the only table for the whole night.
The sushi was not fresh and the staff seems busy to have their own dinner within customers tables.
We left most of the food uneaten.
Do not go
Great food. Was fresh and tasty.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever experienced in New York. The food tastes terrible! Part of my noodles were extremely hot the rest was cold, seemed it wasn’t microwaved fully ! My friends ramen came with hard boiled egg instead of soft egg ! The place is extremely over priced. I have never written a terrible review for a restuarant but I am now. I suggest they turn the restuarant into a nail salon !!!
We did not have a good experience. The service was slow. Our soups were brought out separately. The shrimp dumpling soup had tough shrimp inside the dumpling. The seared tuna salad had cooked tuna, not lightly seared as expected.
Very nice sushi and nice people.
will return again soon.
Really delicious, fresh food prepared with love. Look forward to going again.
It was good
It was delicious!! Our kids, 13, and 16, loved it as well
Very unassuming restaurant, but everything on the plates is excellent and their menu is quite extensive. They have a large variety of sushi combos and rolls, plus many cooked dishes as well. Sushi is delicious and presented beautifully. We started with the king crab dumplings (Rangoon) which were wonderful and the tasty tempura variety appetizer. My only complaint is everything was so good we stuffed ourselves and could not finish everything. There are several levels of pricing so you can spend a lot or be frugal, but you should be able to find something you like.
My daughter wanted Japanese food, it was raining, we didn't want to walk too far in the rain. This was around the corner to our hotel. Staff was friendly. Menu was huge! I had the teriyaki salmon dinner. Portions were good size, but food was only average. My daughter had sushi. Each serving was only one piece, she had to order two portions of each to get a full meal. She thought it was good. Best thing was the desserts.
Food was just ok. Nothing good or bad.
I can't say much about the experience because when we got to the restaurant IT WAS CLOSED. (Sunday June 18)
It wasn't mentioned on open table at all... we made our way via taxi and turned out to be closed. Very displeased... ended up walking 8 blocks to find another restaurant . Wasted $ to get there. Would be nice if open table keep up with the schedule and communicate with restaurant or vice versa.
Perfect as always! The taste is amazing ang the quality is high! I will come back
Menu was very good, sushi was great it tasted fresh and pretty good. We enjoyed service was fast and easy.
Nice sushi ans sashimi mix for two!
The food is quite good, surprisingly good even, particularly given the rather generic and drab ambiance. I would totally go there again. The service isn't particularly friendly but not so much that it mattered much.
Food was pretty good for the price and the happy hour menu had some good options. The service was good. I would go back. I was overall happy with my meal and service.
We went for the unlimited sake bombing. Not everyone wanted unlimited as some preferred to purchase drinks individually (which is understandable). However the restaurant was completely unwilling to compromise and insisted that we all must get unlimited in the risk that someone might sneak another person one of their drinks. Even when we offered to split into two different tables (one table of ppl who would get unlimited drinks, and the other who would purchase their own individual drinks), they still would not let us do so and said that because we were friends we must all get unlimited no matter where we sat in the restaurant. It was absolutely ridiculous and all 8 of us walked out. I've been to the restaurant before and their food is quite lacking (but you must purchase food to get the sake deal). So honestly unless your entire group is only there for the drinking, don't bother going.
Great value for New York. Food very fresh and creative. Would go back
Fast, friendly service. Delicious and reasonably priced.
Food was great! Especially enjoyed the Japanese Plum Wine!
Food was very average but happy hour drinks were quite cheap
Stopped in on quick visit to NYC. Hotel recommended it. The sushi was some of the best we've ever had. Shrimp tempura roll was fabulous. The avocado salad with ginger dressing was delicious and the other rolls were wonderful too. Pink Lady was memorable!! $3 beers were a nice treat and we had very quick service.
