   Our food was good, as we had ordered and timely enough. When I made the reservations I stated it was for a special occasion and listed our 25th wedding Anniversary. All I had hoped for was a mention of congratulations or Oh I see you are celebrating your Anniversary, we are glad you chose us for your celebration. However nothing. I would suggest you remove the option to let Hiro know if you are celebrating anything special from the Table reservations. it is pointless.

   The food and service were top notch. We ordered 88 Margaritas, Crab Rangoons, Gyoza, Kung Pao Chicken, and Braised Shrimp. Everything was so delicious, hot, fresh. It was really packed and busy. I was happy that we had an Open Table reservation because we were seated pretty quickly. Our server (can’t remember his name) but he was super friendly and attentive. We will be back soon!! Our date night spot in South Lincoln!!

   It was a good place for our valentines date, they did take 40 minutes to take our order because they forgot about us. But the girl who was our waitress was so sweet and kept on apologizing and she made it better and made it all okay. I really liked her so she made the experience better.

   It’s unfortunate that the customer learns from a sign on the door that 2.5% is being added to the bill if paid by credit card. Who carries cash? Why not just raise your prices 3%? Credit card processing fees are a part of doing business but instead the customer is being dinged for their preferred method of payment. So what’s going to show up on my statement-the amount I think I authorized or 2.5% more? There are other restaurants in town who appreciate my money, regardless of its form!

    My wife and I chose Hiro 88 for our New Years Eve dinner. Everything exceeded our expectations! We were seated promptly (we had a reservation), our server appeared promptly, our drinks and appetizer came in a very short time and our meals also were delivered in a perfect timeframe. The apps and sushi were excellent and our server checked on us several times. For a very busy night, everything was flawless, from the host/hostess, our server, and others that brought out drinks, apps and entrees. This is a team concept that works really well. We highly recommend Hiro 88 for a friendly, efficient and excellent dining experience!

    The food was good, but the service was lacking. No silverware, had to ask for refills for the drinks multiple times. Ask for salt and pepper 4 times. Main course served minutes after appetizers were brought. Overall the experience was very chaotic, and not relaxing at all.

    It was loud at first when we arrived at 8:00 but by 8:30, when many people left, the level dropped. By 9:00 we got our dinner and it was amazing. It’s never a disappointment to come here.

    Food was delicious. Server wasn't around much, so had a little trouble getting something we needed even though it wasn't busy. But all staff were friendly. Overall a good visit.

    Quiet evening as we came during the Husker football game. Food came out in a timely manner, was fresh, and customer service was great! Not only did our server check in on us, but also the manager. Thank you!

    We were put into a corner next to a big party. We had the same server and they barely came to our table.. we had to ask for more water, they tried to bring out the wrong appetizers and forgot to make one.. when it finally did come (after my meal was almost over) the egg rolls were frozen. They took those off and offered more which I appreciate but declined. Overall for the ticket being $70+ the food was ok but not moving or something I'd want to come back for with the price ..

    Checked in on time for our reservation, hostess was awful! She flipped through her screen and then seated us in the bar? If I wanted to eat in the bar I would have gone to a BAR! Waiter was awesome, Jonathan. Food was good but service was extremely slow. While we we’re waiting for our check we watched the lady cleaning tables, she used a rag to clean off the table, then the seats, then she flipped the rag over her sweaty neck, grabbed a stack of plates and started wiping the plates off with the same rag she just used to clean the tables and chairs! Out of concern for guest health we asked to speak to a manager so that they were aware of what was going on, she could have cared less! As we were leaving the same lady was back cleaning the next table with what looked like the same rag! And to top it all off I received and email from open table saying that the restaurant reported me as a no show for my reservation! $115+25% tip and they report me as a no show? Thanks Hiro88 for ruining our Friday night out!

    Would have like actual menus then looking on phone, takes a lot longer to do and not user friendly when going between multiple menu tabs on phone to compare things also no deserts menu online so I had to ask. Probably would have order more food items if I had the full menu in front of me especially with kids trying to decide would have been nice with real menus.

    Waited 30 minutes to get order take and 50 minutes to get our order. 15 minutes to get a cocktail. The food, was very good once we finally got it.

    As usual with HIRO the food was awesome, that being said in order to actually get my meal we had to ask another server to get our server. We sat for about 30 min with water after being told the server would be “right back”. Over all the HIRO food and management were awesome, on the other had the server was the worst we have ever had!

    The dish that I came in there for was the Korean beef and I was told you don't have that anymore. I was disappointed. Also the wine we wanted you didn't have. But it wa good and we had a nice experience anyway. I still would like to see the Korean beef again!

    We often use Hiro- especially for takeout. We like the food, but seldom eat in-house because of the noise level. The noise level is very high, and although the app calls this level “energetic”, I would call it intrusive and exhausting. My main complaint on 5/8 was a 90 minute wait for sushi, in spite of reservations. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Perhaps it was a lot of takeout orders, but then they should prioritize in-house reserved guests.

    We went there for Mother’s Day as all of the kids were back in town. We are frequent guests on Sunday as we enjoy the all day happy hour. I called earlier in the week to make our reservation, but was informed when we ordered, they would not be offering their usual Sunday specials. This is really a disservice to all the moms on Mother’s Day, and likely negatively impacted their wait staff. We felt like it was a really poor business decision. May have to switch to Blue on Sundays in the future.
