We enjoyed Toro tartar and blistered shishito pepper apps Entrees were pleasing to the eye and delightful. Pistachio crusted lamb chops in a mild curry sauce were juicy, tender and cooked just right! Chilean sea bass was delicious, although the portion size was a little less than filling. The room is really nice…upscale modern. Service was perfect! Pricey but well worth it. We’ll be back.

Fancy Japanese restaurant with high quality food. Transforms you to a New York City high-end restaurant without the higher city costs. We will be back for any time we want to celebrate or dress up for dinner with friends or family.

The service and ambiance were excellent. The waiter brought out a free espresso martini as a gift, upon seeing that my fiance was having a hard night for reasons unrelated to the restaurant. It was very sweet. But the food was quite bad. We had the wagyu fried rice as a starter. It was very dry and the wagyu was just ground beef from what I could tell. If it really was wagyu, it was very hard to tell. The "anniversary roll" I had boasted "spicy jumbo lump crab." But I was unable to discern any crab at all. We also splurged on the A5 roll which included lobster tempura topped with seared A5 Wagyu. I again question the authenticity of the Wagyu. It was tasteless and very chewy. And the lobster tempura was so dry, I forgot it was lobster at first, thinking instead it was some type of puff snack like a cheese puff. The roll was naturally very expensive and was sadly the worst thing we ordered. We likely won't return but if they could improve their food, they'd really be a great restaurant with the staff and ambiance.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the sushi. We tried 3 of the different sushi entrees and a few rolls/individual pieces and it was all fantastic. The apps were yummy too but sushi was definitely the star. The only downside was the service, but given that it is a newer restaurant and we went on Memorial Day Weekend, I am hopeful that they were just understaffed and this will improve in the future. Will definitely be visiting again.

What a great restaurant! Not your typical Asian fare…Dishes were beautifully presented. Excellent and attentive service from Steve. We will be back!!
