Private dinner parties, birthday meals, anniversary celebrations, festive dining and wedding receptions can all be enjoyed here in elegant and luxurious surroundings. We would be delighted to cater for private events from 8 to 150 guests. We are also able to erect a marquee in our gardens which joins directly to the Hall. This was our third visit in some eight weeks The previous two visits were excellent Last Sunday was disappointing There was a long wait between being served our starters and being served our main courses This always concerns me and my reservation was justified. The food when it arrived was somewhat luke warm Obviously it had been left standing out in the kitchen prior to serving.Had we not been with guests ,and they seemed content. I would have complained at the time but did not wish to disrupt our guests apparent enjoyment

Everything about the experience was OK - neither good nor bad to be honest, but it’s nothing like the fine dining experience that Hintlesham Hall used to offer. I assume it’s changed hands in the meantime and now caters for a different type of clientele.

We had Sunday lunch here. Despite the fact they had a wedding on that afternoon with guests arriving, a private lunch party and several diners like ourselves, the service was excellent and attentive. The food was very good. We enjoyed a relaxing lunch including coffee in the lounge area afterwards. Staff we encountered were all friendly, efficient and professional.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and a promotion at work, we were made to feel very welcome, it was fine dining whilst feeling comfortable we will be returning it was lovely to get dressed up and enjoy the amazing food and drink thank you

The best steak I have eaten in a long while. The restaurant was quiet as most hotel guests were attending the Ed Shearan concert in Ipswich so not much atmosphere but altogether a good experience
