Fashioned after a German hops house with an urban twist and a better sense of humor, our Beer Hall boasts two wood burning fireplaces, display kitchen, full lunch and dinner menus and open garage doors to our Beer Garden during our two weeks of Wisconsin summer. It's a good place to meet 30 and 40-year olds for a drink and bar food. At our age, we look for places with great food, AND atmosphere and class.

Service was spotty. Disingenuous friendliness/disinterest. Lunchtime sun through tall window was blinding at our and many other tables without any mention when being seated or effort(s) to minimize/control thereafter. Limited menu choices but food was good.

Good food, just a narrow menu width left us wanting more. More option with steak or seafood dinner items. Better dessert options.
Great atmosphere. Wish the gift shop was open longer so we could have picked up stuff after dinner finished. It was only 9ish and it was closed.

Food wait was looong! Overpriced ! Quality of food was poor. Waitress was good. Will never return! Ran out of tenders on kids menu. Burgers were under cooked (and i eat medium rare). Cheese curds were ridiculously priced and not great. Plenty of fries! Too many! Steak dinners were ok but not worth 42. Even the carrot cake was seved over bitter crannberry sauce!
Accoustics are terrible!

Our waitress did not come to our table until about :12 minutes after we sat down. She did apologize, advised there was a mix up.

The table's for two are WAY to close together. There is zero opportunity for conversation with your date, friend, etc...as those sitting right next to you hear everything. Plus, if someone needs to get in and out to go to the restroom...your butt is right in their face, because you cannot get out without turning...unless you are a size 0-2.

All of our meals were undercooked. Our shrimp was raw, steak was rare, and hamburger was almost raw. We at the rest and took the meat home to cook to the desired temperature.

There are 8 entree's on the menu. The lowest price is a $16 burger. You could expand the menu slightly to offer a few more items. Meatloaf for $32?

I know it was a busy night, so we are willing to try it again. We'll see what happens next time.

Service, pizza and giant fireplace were all great! My reason for some lower ratings was the perch fry. Although the taste excellent, getting 3 butterflies for $22 was crazy!! That amount of fish is $12-13 meal anywhere else in the state.

The Ocean Trout I had was not cooked all the way through and the chicken my wife ordered was undercooked as well. Service was ok, but despite it not being that busy, we did not get refills on our waters and took a while for us to get our check. Normally I overlook things like that and understand life happens due to past restaurant jobs I've had. I figured it was worth bringing up due to if it was my place I would want to know what we can improve but also the idea that my wife and I dropped $100+ means that you expect a higher level of service/food than a typical Perkins like restaurant. The place looks awesome...the beer you have is awesome...parking was good....hostess & server were friendly. Good luck over there!

Great beer, but very limited menu - with more formal entrees than we expected. Wish they had more casual sandwich and burger options. I would only go back to enjoy a beer and an appy. Would not go back for dinner.

We dined at Hinterland for a business meeting. After reading the reviews about the loud noise level, I requested a more quiet area. We were seated in their back area and it was a little better. This is a beer hall with high ceilings and can get very noisy. The décor and atmosphere were fun. For Appetizers we had the cheese curds, tonatto toast, brussel sprouts and the new, adventurous bone marrow appetizer. They were all very good. For dinner, two in our group had the artisan sausage platter, two had the burger and I had the Blackened Barramundi. All were very tasty. I think the pricing is crazy though. $16 for a burger is hard to justify. I probably will be back, but not for the overpriced dinners. This would be a fun place to hang out for happy hour and appetizers.

Overpriced. Underwhelming! My husband and I both had dinners that were very disappointing. His tiny piece of salmon was served on a bed of undercookeded sweet potatoes. My burger was missing the Neuske’s bacon and the “garlic” fries were missing the garlic! Add in two beers, a small appetizer and our bill was $73.00!!!

Beautiful urban vibe with wood burning fireplaces at opposite ends of the main room. Can’t believe it’s Green Bay. Food was delicious and we totally enjoyed it.

Took 2 hours from the time we sat till the time we got our food and it was not busy. Then they brought the food and gave us all the wrong dishes so there was no organization in delivering what else actually ordered.. Food was cold. Took a long time to get our check.
