As always at Hinnies, the staff are helpful attentive (without the need to constantly ask if everything is ok) and the quality of food is exceptional.

Friendly and efficient service. Food was tasty and well prepared. Restaurant was nearly full so there was a great atmosphere.

This is a lovely restaurant on the seafront at Whitley Bay. They offer a set menu at a very reasonable price with a varied choice. The restaurant is not very big but very welcoming and staff are very attentive. Great cocktail menu. Lovely for family, friends and couples also dogs are welcome.

Delicious breakfast (Hinnie’s Belta and a veggie stottie). Excellent service and great value. Will definitely be back.

It is always a pleasure to return to this restaurant. You could just enjoy the quality of the service you receive but you will also love the food which can do both robust and delicate -a crab souffle which almost floated off the plate and a venison/bacon burger with real oomph as examples.This is definitely one of our "happy places" Thank you again for a great experience

Have eaten a number of times at Hinnies. Service last night was perfect as always. Lovely atmosphere and location. Fish and meat dishes ordered were their usual standard but the Vegetarian Bean Wellington was utterly awful. We were at a working dinner so didn't fuss - would have normally. Have eaten some reasonable vegetarian dishes there in the past but last night's wasn't one of them. The rest of the menu had a very summery feel - except the veggie options? Wont stop us trying it again we usually like it but please give a bit more thought to your vegetarian options please - you can only eat pan haggerty so many times.
