Himalayan Bistro is proud to be the first Nepali restaurant in the Greater Boston area. Nepal food is very healthy, nourishing, practical and tasty. It is not fatten! All of our dishes are prepared similar to the way the Nepali royal family is served. As you are our guests, we want to serve you in a similar way…royalty. Our menu also includes Indian cuisine. Our dining hall is elegant with high ceiling. Authentic music and antique statues.

We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She is a vegan and was very happy with the selection. We let her order but added 2 delicious chicken dishes. The menu is huge so something for everyone! We have eaten here several times and have always been pleased with our dinner.

Himalayan Bistro is an incredible deal, especially for vegetarians. We love getting the vegetarian dinner for two, love the okra, especially, and always have at least a meal's worth of food to take home. We'll keep going back!

After reading the Zagat reviews, we were ready for experiencing a neighborhood gem. Unfortunately the enjoyable food was counterbalanced by hit-and-miss table service. Example: stacking used plates on the table as part of clearing the table? Leaving used hot cloths on the table during dessert? Better training of the wait staff is clearly needed.

Very unique and delicious food. Waiters gladly answered our several questions. Prices quite reasonable.

This place is favorite. I particularly enjoy the mixed tandoori grill.

Our 4th visit and we will return again. Excellent value. We would rate it very good if not memorable.

You would never know it from the outside but this West Roxbury hidden jewel is worth the trip! The owner/chef offers an impressively large menu filled with all of your Indian favorites and a few you have never even heard of before. One night we were even invited into the kitchen to watch the chef make the nan in the tandoor. We have always enjoyed everything we have ordered and go back often.
