Our dining experience showcases the artistry and skill of Chef Timothy Rampey and his culinary team. In addition to a daily 4 course Chef's Tasting menu and A La Carte options, we partner with local farmers and regional purveyors who share our philosophy. Our extended Wine cellar hold about 200 varietals. An amazing beer and spirits-menu is available in our Bullskin Tavern.

Very cute place. The table and chairs we sat at weren’t comfortable at all. It was very warm in the restaurant. The food was good with excellent wine pairing. The short ribs were a little spicy but still good. Would have liked them to be less spicy though. We sat and were talking for some time. We just spent $500 on food when someone came up to our table and asked us everything ok because we had been sitting there for some time. For someone who just spent $500 on dinner, a simple, “would you like some more coffee?” or “would you like to see the desert menu?” Would have been a better way to see if everything was ok. We would have stayed longer if she had addressed us a little more invitingly and not make us stop our conversation acting like there was a problem with us converting for awhile. Not the way people who just spent all that money on dinner should be addressed. Dinner was good and our waiter was great. I’m not sure who came up to our table st the end but they should be trained on how to properly address customers without making them feel like there should be a problem present if we’re sitting there for awhile, talking. They weren’t closing up nor were they short seating. I see no reason we should have been asked if there was a problem while enjoying our evening up to that point.

The food at Hillbrook Inn is second to none. The beef tenderloin medallions were seared and seasoned to perfection. Easily one of the best dinners I've had. And the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon for breakfast was an amazing way to start the day. We hope to come back soon.

A gorgeous setting deep in the woods with superb service and exquisite courses. We also tried several cocktails I’ve had around the country and overseas and your bartender made them as good as anywhere. This was a truly first class experience all around and we will be back.

Quaint countryside B&B with a restaurant. Food was a fixed menu for Mother’s Day and left a lot to be desired. The kitchen’s cost cutting methods were very apparent like de-thawed frozen strawberries and reheated bread to name a few, which takes the focus away from what should be a relaxing atmosphere. The food was unbalanced in seasoning and presentation and unremarkable in taste. The bar service was slow and the drinks were worse than a chain restaurants best attempt. Not worthy of the price the establishment is asking. Service was very good but did not pick up on the polite cues of dislike. Over all, completely unimpressed and no longer interested in the B&B or accompanying spa.

The a/c was on overnight and the room was freezing for my 88-year-old mom. The tv’s also had no service. Fireplace did not work. There was instructions for the fireplace, but no remote. Room was a great size and the scenery was beautiful!

Spectacular gourmet meal. Would skip the cheese plate and just have a perfectly cooked filet and veggies. Could’ve licked the plate. The chef gave me complimentary dessert. Hazelnut white chocolate mousse and blackberry sorbet. Textures and flavor contrasts made it one of a kind. Next time I would do the 3 course chefs menu rather than a la carte. Server was incredible .

What a wonderful find! The salad surprised us with the vast amount of diverse add ins like sunflower seeds and radishes. I had the cod, perfectly cooked, and placed on a bed of Sherry foam, sautéed greens and mushrooms. My wife chose the beef tenderloin and thought it was one of the most tender and properly cooked pieces of beef she has ever had. We are big foodies so this is saying something. For desert we shared the chocolate mousse which was also delightful and a large portion. Service did not disappoint either. Nor did the cocktails and wine. Breakfast the next morning was beautifully prepared as well. We give this place a big thumb's UP!

The Inn is charming and looks right out of a fairytale book. The food was outstanding. The wait time was a bit long, and wait staff was not particularly attentive, even though we appeared to be the only guests there at the time.

We've been coming to the Hillbrook for 3 years now and this year was honestly a disappointment. The atmosphere and the service were great but the food was lacking in quality and portions size plus it was overpriced. Our salad almost appeared to be made with iceberg lettuce. Just a weak showing for a place that touts themselves as being so great. Not sure we'd give them another shot after this.

This great dining experience started from the time we checked in and enjoyed cocktails in the waiting area. Loved the layout and the waiting area concept. I also enjoyed the charm of the restaurant and how the historic nature of the property just resonates through the rooms all the way to the dining area. As for the food…. Amazing, everything we had was made to perfection. Something as simple as a salad was bursting with flavor to include the taste of freshness. To pair, we had the Prosecco from their wine list My wife had the scallops as an appetizer and normally she shared a bite or two. Not this time. By the time I looked up to ask for a bite, it was gone as I too was busy enjoying my salad. The main course was just absolute perfection. We all ordered the beef tenderloin and it came out with the perfect temperature, doneness, and seasoning. The cab the restaurant suggested also paired very well. Lastly, thank you Jan for taking the time to talk with us. It was great meeting you and learning about the property. And cheers to your amazing staff. Everyone was so very warm and hospitable.

After enjoying the excellent whiskey selection in the bar before dinner, We had the 4 course tasting with wine pairing. All selections were excellent. Service was fantastic as was the ambiance. Scallops with wine pairing were particularly memorable. Cannot say enough good things and we will be back.

For starters, we were greeted and seated by the coincerage who explained the history behind The Inn. The entire wait staff was professional and personable. They truly made you feel welcome. My wife and I did the six course tasting menu with wine pairings. The food as well as the plating was awesome. The sommelier did a wonderful job with her explanation for the pairings. The two amuse bouche were amazing. My wife loved the oxtail ragu with the celeriac puree. I really enjoyed the oysters. Overall, a truly wonderful dining experience. Would definitely recommend!

The building itself is beautiful. We also loved the inside decor. The Tasting Menu was fantastic and every course was exceptional. We got the wine pairing and all the wines were wonderfully paired with the course. The only issue was the over priced, plain coffee, but if that is all you have to complain, deal with it.

Very small portions but excellent quality. We ordered from the a la cart menu. Prices are ridiculous for main menu considering how they are presented with two small bites of vegetables. The steak portion was ok but the squab was four two inch pieces. Yes a squab is a small bird but the portion should be increased. The scallop appetizer is two scallops for $36.
