The Highwayman Inn is about as charming a British country pub as you could wish to find. In the heart of the Cotswolds, it’s probably one of the most historic inns in the country, having served as a welcome rest for travellers heading north towards Cheltenham and Gloucester for nearly 250 years. The food and drink has always been great, but now, run by Ian & Tina Blake, The Highwayman Inn is a real specialist in classic British pub grub, lite bites, Sunday roasts, and a fine selection of real ales to wash it all down. There’s a pleasant patio, disbaled access, speedy WiFi, and dogs are more than welcome as well. When passing through Elkstone and in need of a hearty, high-quality bite, there’s really no better bet than The Highwayman Inn.
