Love the old building! Had to wait for water and a greeting. The food was mediocre but well priced for Highlands. Everyone’s food came out in stages so we didn’t get to dine together.

The food was mostly mediocre. The biscuits were dry. The cornbread in a dish with black eyed peas was hard as a rock. A chicken main dish a trout dish were unremarkable. The restaurant is in a pretty old log cabin. The service was fine. But given the high ratings of others, I was very disappointed in the quality of the meal.

We loved our meals and look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. We watched other tables get their orders and it all looked delicious! Thanks to the entire team for a wonderful evening. We will be back.

I was in town with for a brief work trip and dined with my colleagues at HSC. What a fantastic setting! I can’t recall being in a space like that with its log cabin architecture and glow from the fire. The food and service were top notch. I had the Caesar and the elk tenderloin, which were superb. Our server recommended us a great Argentinian red off-menu that was a gem. I was surprised at the pricing which was modest compared to some of the options in the area with worse food and ambiance, HSC offers great value. Can’t wait to come back!

Great inventive take on classic Southern food. Ambiance of a century old log cabin sets the background for the dining experience. Highly recommend

Delicious food and excellent service. On the pricey side, however, fair value for the money.
