Overall the food was delicious. The ambience was nearly nonexistent. The log walls in the sunroom were painted yellow! You would expect to see natural wood throughout. No flowers or decoration on tables. Very plain. Not the fine dining experience we expected. Probably will not dine again. Too many other better choices in that price range.

We dined at Highlands Supper Club recently. I had the pork chop which was very good, but it was slightly overcooked. It was reasonably priced. My husband had the ribeye special which was very good but a bit pricey at $55. We were both disappointed in the banana pudding for dessert as there were not many bananas or vanilla wafers in it. We would dine here again though. Service was great!

Sadly disappointed in our first dining experience!!!! Quaint setting with nice atmosphere. Our server was deplorable! She had NEVER been trained and it ruined our dining experience. After our seating, we had long wait before our server arrived. Restaurant was not very busy. She did not provide any kind of welcome but just wanted to know what we wanted to order. She did not offer any specials or explanation of the food or drinks, unless we requested some information on the menu choices. While waiting for our dinner, we noticed the kind of service the surrounding tables were receiving from their server. After placing our order we had a long wait for food and had the opportunity to observe and listen to the waitress at our surrounding tables. She was welcoming, hospitable and informative. This is how we found out about the specials! We heard her special offerings to her tables. The Chef's menu is a unique interpretation of southern comfort food. Our food was barely fair! We will not return. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

We appreciate your detailed feedback, and our apologies for an experience that doesn't live up to either of our expectations. Contacting you privately, but would hope there's a way that we can find a way to turn the page, and make you a fan.
