The Chai tea/latte was excellent - just as I like it. While the cakes/biscuits were fresh and delicious, the choice was limited. Unfortunately there are roadworks outside the cafe, and the door did not close easily. I had to get up to close the door a few times so I could hear what my friends were saying. Overall a pleasant morning.

We waited over 50mins for 2 toasted sandwhiches and the cafe wasn’t even busy (there were plenty of free tables). I also was initially turned away because we didn’t have a booking and wasn’t told that I could just book one in online (again, they weren’t busy, there were plenty of tables). I went online after we walked out and booked a table, went straight back in and was seated lol. Seems a bit silly. Food was fine, my toastie used the slippery cheap ham I’m not a fan of so I wouldn’t say it was quality.

Male waiter (short skinny guy) was very rude, ignorant and unprofessional. He did not approach the table to take our order even when the restaurant was not busy, when called, he ignored and said “won’t be long” and then didn’t bother coming back at all. We are more put off by his attitude than anything else. Absolutely pathetic customer service skills unfortunately.
