    The service is always great here. We had a server who has been here awhile and was excellent. She knew the menu, came with recommendations and gave us time and space during dinner. Our group came here specifically for the king crab legs. Unfortunately, this item was recently removed from the menu due to a quality issue. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. Several in our party ordered the seafood bake dish. It was a bunch of seafood smothered in some gravy-type sauce. Not what we were expecting. Another person ordered the cioppino which didn’t have a lot of flavor. We do like this place but the last couple of times there we’ve had less than great experiences.

    I recently dined at High Tide Seafood Bar, and two dishes absolutely stood out—the Tide Roast and the Seared Scallops. The Tide Roast is a seafood lover’s dream. Served sizzling hot, it’s a rich, flavorful mix of perfectly cooked shellfish—shrimp, mussels, and clams—simmered in a buttery white wine broth with garlic and herbs. The broth is so good you'll want to soak up every drop with their crusty bread. It’s hearty without being heavy, and the freshness of the seafood really shines through. The Seared Scallops were equally impressive. Cooked to a golden crust on the outside while remaining tender and buttery on the inside, they were paired with a light, citrusy sauce that brought out their natural sweetness. The presentation was elegant and the portion satisfying. Our experience at High Tide was even better thanks to our amazing waitress Shizuka. From the moment we were seated, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever hovering. She had great menu recommendations—especially pointing us toward the Tide Roast and Seared Scallops, which turned out to be the highlights of the meal. She anticipated our needs, kept our drinks full, and checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without interrupting our conversation. What stood out most was her warm attitude and genuine care for the dining experience. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and in representing the restaurant well. Service like that makes a big difference—and it's the kind that brings customers back.

    Great food and ambiance. I took my mom there for her 85th birthday. She was treated like a queen and the food was delicious. Even starters offered generous portions.

    Been going for years. Still superb. The poke, calamari and sushi outstanding. Of course we’ll continue to return.

    Great Gumbo, Great service and great value. You can actually have a conversation in High Tides as the acoustics are excellent

    We came back to High Tide for the Oysters, which were just fine. We needed to order an entree to share since my wife and I were hungry after waiting all day for our 7:30pm reservation. She liked the pictures of the Cioppino, so we ordered that expecting a delicious, white sauce version like we have has all over the world. It was barely edible, but we ate what we could since we were so hungry. There was no fish, scallops and wheat we thought was squid, was just rubber white pieces of something that along with the base soup was blah, I mean tasteless, like a bowl of boiled clams and muscles with shrimp which barely had any flavor. When the waitress asked us how it was I said not good. I waited and tried to flag down the manager who visited the other 2 table in our row to explain there meals to them, but he didn't see me. We even ordered the bread to give the broth something to soak into and it was bland as the sauce soaked in so we added butter to the bread. We had planned to get calamari for our grandson to take to his home, so we did and received the takeout with about 10 pieces for an additional $18.00. The total was over $72 and was far from a fair value for that price. What happened, High Tide Gilbert used to be a good restaurant we enjoyed the past 5 years and now is off our list.

    High Tide is a great place for wonderful food and great ambiance. It was Oyster Tuesday, so service was very slow to deliver. Our waitress was wonderful and the delays with the food was not her fault.

    This was another birthday occasion and it has become an annual event. My husband loves the seafood variety of the High Tide Combo. The Crab cheesy garlic bread is amazing. We love this place even if it is a tad expensive, it is worth it!
