Nestled in the historic village of Long Grove, Gerri's Tea Room represents her roots and heritage as a native of Ireland. Opened in 2012, the tea room features a classic experience and introduction to the past time of afternoon tea in an elegant and charming setting.

The high tea is inspired by British classics – an artful array of finger sandwiches, raisin scones, and petite pastries – a menu that represents authenticity. Gerri and her hosts fill delicate antique tea cups with freshly brewed and strained tea from antique silver teapots in Victorian attire.

From ladies’ socials, birthdays and bridal showers to corporate events and wedding receptions, High Tea with Gerri accommodates all occasions, never compromising on quality or intimacy – even for large gatherings!

Such a wonderful experience. I went with a friend for my birthday and they were so kind and attentive and everything was delicious. I live about 3 hours away but will definitely be back. Well worth the trip.

My cousin was in from Arizona and I thought High Tea at Geri's would be a treat. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience as did I. The food was delicious and the ambiance at Geri's was just as you would expect for a tea room. Lovely table settings, table cloths, little hankie "napkins," china plates and teacups. We had such a nice time. This was not the first time I've brought an out-of-town guest to Geri's and it won't be the last.

Our high tea was a splendid experience among friends. Gerri was fun-loving, helpful, and the topping on our 4-course meal. Taking photos with fancy hats was a hoot, making for a fond memory of Long Grove. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a touch of London (and of Ireland with the boss)!

Took my mother for an outing for her birthday. The hostess was really kind and cheerful and helped explain everything. Very welcoming environment with charming decorations. Delicious food as well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience!

While I appreciate the efforts this was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. Place was dingy, and so super loud. Wasn’t greeted by anyone in fact it wasn’t even evident where the entry to the front was. There was a super loud party that took up much of the space. Food was mediocre at best and for the price we paid we should have had a steak dinner. One and done with this one.

What a lovely experience. I have been here twice this month. Had the extreme please of meeting the owner Gerri. She could not be more welcoming and sweet!!!! Would highly recommend. 💕
