Took my daughter here for her 17th bday. We had an excellent experience and everything from the service to the filet, was flawless. Loved the ambiance and the modern flare, this place is truly a hidden gem and I believe as word gets out, more people will check it out and add this trendy restaurant to their list of restaurants to visit; we did.

My first time visiting High Hill Farm was wonderful, so much so that I chose to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary here. We all ordered the filet and all ordered our steak “Medium”. My steak was well done and my husband’s steak was medium well. Our waiter asked me if I wanted to send it back but I knew they would have to cook a whole new steak for me, so I told him no. I only ate 2 bites of my steak because it was overcooked. There were flies in the dining area which I know can be hard to control in the summer so I didn’t complain. Overall the experience was good but I was disappointed in my food since it was so good the first time we went. I’m not sure that I will return.

Some friends recommended High Hill for a special occasion, so we went for our anniversary. We booked for an early dinner and had a wonderful time. The grounds were very nice to walk after dinner, with some really pretty gardens. We received very friendly, pleasant greetings from all the staff and were seated promptly upon our arrival. The attention we got from our server, Richard, was top notch. He had excellent menu knowledge, made solid suggestions based on our leanings, and was very attentive, but did not hover. He was training a new server, Jonathan that evening, and I noted that Richard was very kind and thorough with his training out in the dining room. He gave Jonathan opportunities to check on tables himself and get the invaluable experience of interacting with guests and assessing their needs. Our food was very good and seemed reasonably priced for the experience and taste. We recommend High Hill, and we will be returning ourselves.

This was our first visit and we loved it. We each had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. We sat on the patio and watched the sunset. Our service was great and can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the High Hill Farm Restaurant. It was our first time there, and we were so impressed with the services we received from the time we arrived to when we left. My husband ordered the lobster bisque for a starter and said it was the best he ever had. He also ordered the pork loin for his entree and said it was cooked perfectly and delicious. I ordered the caesar salad for a starter and the spicy Mediterranean pasta with chicken dish for my entree and both were amazing. We completed our dinner with the butter cake and requested that the caramel sauce be served on the side since another review mentioned it was quite sweet. The cake was served warm from the oven and tasted absolutely heavenly. We will definitely return to this restaurant nestled in the Piney Woods.

We decided to book a last-minute date night, and our evening took an unexpected turn when we arrived to find out there was no record of our reservation, and the kitchen was about to close. Just when we thought our plans were derailed, the incredibly attentive hostess sprang into action. She spoke with the kitchen, and moments later, the Executive Chef himself emerged to apologize for the mix-up. He offered to whip up something special with whatever ingredients they had left, and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to trust the chef’s instincts! Our culinary adventure kicked off with a delightful burrata that was bursting with flavor, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Next, we savored a cup of lobster bisque that could give even the finest in Boston a run for their money. The main course was a beautifully cooked filet paired with velvety gnocchi and fresh green beans – every bite was a harmonious explosion of taste. To cap off our memorable night, we indulged in a caramel butter cake that was simply the best dessert we've had in weeks. We left the restaurant with full hearts (and stomachs) and a renewed excitement to return during the day to explore the modern, clean space and its beautiful grounds. A huge thank you to the team for turning our night into such a fantastic experience! We can’t wait for round two.
