Wonderful dining at High Cotton. My husband and I enjoyed the scallops and the Snapper both of which were prepared perfectly. It is a special dining experience with wonderful, attentive service. We shall return next time we are in Charleston.

First time at High Cotton eventhough its been in Charleston for years. It won't be our last. What a great restaurant and our waiter couldn't have been better.

in a city filled with tourist traps, High Cotton stands out as a place which offers great service, great menu and an enjoyable atmosphere. We're luck to be local and get to go when we want.

Great food and a fantastic server, Kryston. We all had appetizers and different types of entrees. All were very good.

Server was polite but not friendly. She didn't smile or respond after we answered her questions. She came across cold in a warm atmosphere. We were expecting a high price restaurant to have warm friendly staff. A bit disappointed with the lack of charm in that area.

We loved High Cotton -- and while the service was exceptional, the menu was changed so much that you can't call this High Cotton anymore. We've been coming to this restaurant once or twice a year (at least) every year for the past decade. However, this has become Halls Seafood and no longer represents the High Cotton brand. It was a very disappointing evening simply because of the drastic change to the menu. If you like seafood I'm certain this will be an amazing experience. But if you're looking for High Cotton... it's gone...

The food was a disappointment and service was slow. The Magnolia just down the street is a much better restaurant all around. Restaurants peak and then drop off for a bit. Maybe this was a valley as we have done better before. Don't recommend Sunday as they don't put much effort into it.

I made reservations on open table and somehow the time got screwed up. When I came and spoke to the manager about this, he was very courteous and apologetic. Furthermore, he sent over a complimentary pastry dish. This was definitely far and above what I expected. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is wonderful.
