This was our Thanksgiving meal. We had reservations, but they were 45 minutes behind by 6:00 PM. The reason was they did not have enough help. The servers were working very hard but because there was not enough of them, the quality of the establishment was negatively affected. They opened the bar for seating which meant that the bartender also became a waitress. Too much to ask of anyone. The meal was average.
Had Thanksgiving reservations for 5pm, but didn't get seated until after 6pm. They were slammed!!!! It was worth the weight as the food was AMAZING!!
We've eaten at Highfalutin many times. Good quality food. This was our second Thanksgiving dinner there. Outstanding food, but really high priced.
This was a thanksgiving day meal so very crowded but food and waitstaff was excellent!
Great tasting food!
Serverwas the most efficient and friendly person I have experienced in Avery long time!
Will most definitely return!
If I went back, I would just get one of their steaks. I really did not care for their chicken fajitas...I didn't like the way the chicken tasted and it was too spicy for me.
Our Server Eric was super.
Our first time at Hifalutin’s. We will be coming back. We love the casual Western ambiance. The menu has a nice selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and dinners.
Our wait was Jas, he was attentive and professional. Check on us at perfect intervals.
My wife had the Turkey club, was way more than she could eat, I enjoyed the rest for lunch. I had the Salmon. Was perfectly prepared, just the right portion size. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We’re looking forward to going back on a Friday to catch the live music.
Highfalutin’s is a great place for an intimate evening meal. We recommend it.
took awile to get food, refill waters, pasta was very dry ,no came back to check until it was to late
Excellent service. Had a cranky 2 year old with our group, and the staff was very friendly - distracted him every time they were near - and were very gracious. Food was amazing, as always.
Outdoor patio was perfect!
I do wish the staff would wear masks during the pandemic. Unfortunately Arizona seems believe they are immune. Over all exceptional experience.
Our group ate on the patio - it was a delightful experience. Great menu and the margarita was perfect!! We will return many times!
Try the Prickly Pear Margarita and the Taco Fiesta!
Our first time here and we will return. We enjoyed our meal as did our guests. Very comfortable environment. We liked the table spacing and proximity to others. Wait staff (Max) and others were pleasant and helpful.
Love the steak fries!! The tamron margarita (not sure of spelling) was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while!!!
Easy table reservations, nice outdoor dining. Tasty.
very good food. Service friendly but not the brst or consistant. Pricey. Best ribs in Tucson.
Four diners each selected a different entre. This proved my prediction that the menu had something for everyone. All portions were generous. The only negative review was the grilled Mexican Prawns entre was overcooked and dry.
Delicious food served by personable staff.
cowboy Riley was outstanding. hacienda cheese crisp and tamarind margaritas as well. basil mashed potatoes were the only thing not excellent
Dinning with friends, the beef stroganoff was great!
We ate on the patio which was very quiet and comfortable. We all ordered off their Happy Hour menu - everyone enjoyed their selection. We will be regular diners.
Only real issue was the live music which made it almost impossible to talk to others at our table and even talk to the waiter
We were seated promptly and our waitress, Emillie, Was very polite and attentive. The food selection was good and our order was quickly taken. We did notice that the food order was sitting on the warming counter for some time considering the restaurant was not busy. We thought the prices were a bit high. I would recommend that someone try it and make their own decision as to whether they would go back. Not sure we would.
I've read a plethora of bad reviews & I'd be the first to call these guys out.
I've eaten lunch & brunch three times in 6 weeks. Food was great, service was more than adequate. So it's not the Bay area, it's Tucson & much more convenient even though I made it once from Marin to Marana in 4 hours lol.
This was an excellent experience! Great food, excellent service, and not to busy or crowded.
We wanted a quiet venue with proven good comfort food. We were promptly greeted and arrived in time for their Sunday brunch menu. I had a generous Monte Cristo & my partner had a chicken & pasta entree. Both items were delicious. The potatoes on the side were home fries w/onions, & sweet peppers. Nice compliment.
Service was above & beyond. Very personable and not her first rodeo which translates into knowledgeable great service. How refreshing!
We'll be back fer sure.
Our salads came out dressed, even though we had asked for dressing on the side. The waitress comped us a dessert. My wife’s salmon was charred, the noise level was very high. My steak was very good. Kinda pricey for what we received.
It’s a nice surprise when you enter the building, very cozy environment. Food’s great and service is wonderful.
Always the best food & service. Glad to be back in person enjoying the mini muffins.
This was our first time visiting - we’d always heard good things from others, and finally decided to check it out for ourselves. We were not disappointed! The food is delicious, the service was friendly and fast, the atmosphere is casual intimate, and the price is fair for the quality offered. We will definitely be back!
Very attentive service.
Food was reasonably priced and large portions.
Service was very good. Food was average to good. I had Mahi Mahi; excellent. However, the basil mashed potatoes were soupy; too soft. I would opt in for a baked potato. Mixed vegetables were over cooked.
The bar however might be a better choice as the "bar menu" looked inviting.
Loved this restaurant! Beautiful ambiance and awesome service. Would recommend!
We enjoyed a really delicious Bruch on a recent Saturday. Menu selection was very varied. Food was delivered quickly and was very hot. Service was excellent; portions were large. Only drawback: prices were a little high, especially since we didn't have any alcohol. But we will certainly return.
Everyone was so friendly. Every staff member greeted us as we walked through. Our server Billie was great, suggesting lots of great drinks and food. It was our 1st time dining in and will definitely be back. Every dish was prepared to our requests. Lots of flavor. Excited to come back! There was music in the background which was nice but was overruled by a harsh bass sound that was endless.
We brought friends last night - it was their first time. We ate on the patio - very comfortable and quiet - we were the only ones on the patio. We were there at Happy Hour - many selections and the tacos, and chicken dishes were great!!
Mille, our server, took great care of us. The prickly pear margarita hit the spot. Bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing. Salmon and flank steak were cooked to perfection.
