Hideaway Kitchen bar has an amazing menu and selection and the food is quite enjoyable. However myself and my group were very polite and friendly and from the beginning the waitress had a terrible attitude, was blunt and rude and honestly ruined the whole experience for me. This place has so much potential but the staff need to be a bit more polite and friendly so people are more likely to return.

This was our third visit. A must venue every time we travel to Broadbeach. Our son is vegan and we enjoyed that menu too . Great flavours and vibe. Make sure you book. It is popular for a reason.

Wow! Great food! The sticky chilli beef was to die for! We were a party of 5 adults and we each enjoyed our meal and are still raving about it! We are only here for a holiday but would definitely recommend to anyone coming up to the gold coast

Really great time. Every dish was amazing. Got the same waitress as last time who is awesome just like last time so I had to leave a $20 tip. Great serving sizes always makes for an easy lunch the next day. Thank you.

Food not amazing - teriyaki steak had a big piece of gristle through it. Pork belly dry and no crackle. Karaage chicken chewy... Need I go on. Service was fine and good selection of drinks. Foods are amazing and yummy just little disappointed with one dish - beef fillet Teriyaki and it’s the most expensive meal we ordered yesterday. The meats are not fresh it looks like been cooked for a while and it’s been soaking or re used the meat on different menus.

Overall great experience as usual. Not the same vibe now the outdoor area is in a marquee but can understand why it has been done. Had put that it was for a birthday in the reservation but this wasn’t picked up by staff so I had to raise it and was well looked after then.

Was average at best. Having no utensils for constructing your bao was not good. Our lamb ribs had a peculiar taste, almost like they were off. Our waiter however was fantastic. So bubbly and friendly. Its a pity really that the food was not good.

How do you decide what to have with a menu that is SO filled with the most amazing sounding items! We did a great job though!! 🤤 This place is absolutely amazing, such an enjoyable environment and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. BUT THE FOOD, my oh my the flavours, the textures and the pure joy in every mouthful. Thank you for a beautiful night for my Fiancés birthday! I hadn’t stopped thinking about the fried rice which I thoroughly enjoyed 6 months prior to coming back. Won’t leave it so long to come back again. So so much more to treat my tastebuds with!

On arrival the music was way too loud, so it was turned down immediately upon request. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere/ambience was perfect for us. ( 3 middle aged women) It took a little while for our food to arrive, but it was fresh, hot and delicious. Duck spring rolls, pork gyoza, lamb shank massaman curry and beef pad Thai.

Table was unstable and needed to be chocked.Ants all over table as cup placed on table for water was disgusting with some type of surgery substance. Chicken was undercooked. Ordered a large sparkling water and they brought 1l bottle for two people but one glass which was full of limes and 2 toothpicks. Asked for a glass to drink the water out of and the waitress said “well you need to ask if you want a glass!” WTF. When she did bring the glass she held it with her fingers INSIDE the glass. Some of the food was outstanding but the service was non existent and the overall experience was dreadful. Definitely would not recommend

The beef tataki was beautiful but the edamame was quite plain. Would've been great if it came in some kind of sauce like the tataki was in. We were also very disappointed with the steamed coconut rice pudding, which had no coconut flavour and tasted like red beans. This was inedible for us but the mango sorbet was beautiful. The wagyu dumplings were also delicious.

We loved it but do not rate the 2 hour seating, we spent i think $700 all up and were rushed out of there at exactly the time our booking was up. I feel as though this takes away from the experience and the ability to totally enjoy when the server is continually reminding us about the time. I think if people are willing to spend so much money we shouldn’t have been rushed out of there. We definitely would have stayed for more food and drinks. I think this was the only really disappointing part of dinner and unfortunately ruined the whole experience. This probably needs to be alerted or something needs to be in place for people who are spending a lot of money already to not be rushed out like we spent $100. Food was great and our waiter was amazing. Would only recommend if you wanted to go for a quick dinner.
