Food was delicious! The chilli beef starter a standout! The drink service was a little slow. Overall a great night out.

Loved the food - interesting with varied flavours and textures. We had the banquet which was good value but there was far too much food for us. Unfortunately, there were no Moreton Bay bugs which we had been so looking forward to but the duck spring rolls we had as a substitute were extremely good. The service was rather slow to start with but once it started, there were no problems and the food came at good intervals. Would thoroughly recommend the banquet but there was a mountain of food so a very healthy appetite is needed to do it justice!

One of the dishes we ordered was never provided. Given that it was for a guest who is 2 m tall and 110 kg, it did NOT go down well.

Food was excellent, we went for a lot of small plates and one bigger plates to share and enjoyed everything. They do warn you that things will come when they are ready but was disappointed to get the fried rice last and after we'd eaten the rest. Desserts were delicious too and we enjoyed sharing them. The Violent Soho cocktail was delicious, a definite highlight. Great decorations but our 'best available' table was a in a draft and there were other tables free so not sure how it was selected. It's an industrial like space, concrete floor, so noise is loud. Staff were friendly and helpful but took us a while to get someone's attention so we could order some dessert. We'd go back again, good food, lots of choice and a great spot if you're happy to share and get to try lots of different flavours, well put together.

Great Vibe with a Retro/Funky feel and friendly staff and excellent choices of Food. Dishes were Fresh, and Colourful with everything paired well and tasted Amazing.. a Compliment to the Chefs. A Mermaid Waters local recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Defs would go back when on the Gold Coast again..

Hideaway is our go to date night. We especially love the Moreton Bay Bug Bao Buns (which are to die for) and the pork belly skewers. Never had a bad meal and it’s always upbeat, friendly service and great value for money. Highly recommend!

Lovely family dinner Great service and amazing food Good wine list The staff were on hand and the dishes came out in a reasonable time The wine was great and we all enjoyed our dining experience Will be back again one night
