The food was actually really nice, but when we sat at the table the table wasn’t clean, there were bits of food on the table, I asked for the table to be cleaned but that didn’t happen, instead our food was served. The menu on here needs to be updated as it says the steaks come with roasted veg and a choice of mash potato or chips. But we were charged extra for the chips. Overall I don’t think I’ll be going back, just wasn’t impressed with the service and feel out of pocket with the extra charges.

I booked this restaurant as well were on a trip with Caledonian travel and my daughter didn't want anything that was on the set menu . We were the only people in the restaurant. Staff were very accommodating. My daughter ordered the lasagne and I ordered these steak. It came with a few roasted vegetables but that wasn't really enough. I did have some of my daughters fries.The steak was cooked how I like it but they used so much pepper on it that it actually spoilt it. So pleased I ordered the mushroom sauce and not the pepper sauce. My daughter said the lasagne was nice. I ordered a chocolate fudge cake for dessert and that was ok. Abit on the dry side but ok.

Enjoyed our meal overall. My T-bone steak was cut very thin & therefore overcooked. My husband had 2 small but thick sirloins that were a little underdone for him so we swapped and so all was good. Would go again.

I had to wait for ages, even though the restaurant was empty, when my lasagna and chips arrived the lasagna was freezing cold in the middle. I had to leave my table to go and find a server to tell them about this. The service was very poor and no one officially came to apologise to me. I subsequently tried to order 3 other options that were not on the menu apparently anymore. Would not recommend.

Hi I give this place a 1 star due to the website open table letting me book for 9 45 when the last booking was at 9 30

The food it self was good, but the waitress was something to be sorted, as we were the only ones in there at the time, we had to keep calling over the waitress to get our main course and even longer to take our desert order, as I have worked in the industry for many years in the past, I was a bit disappointed, we were never checked on or asked how things were, so we ate out the rest of the weekend
