Food, drink, and service were all fantastic. If you're in the area, this is a required stop. You honestly won't find anything better, especially for how affordable it was. Staff was especially helpful with allergies and they made everyone feel at home. An absolute gem.

I had the Gnocchi, delicious. My partner had the braised pork shoulder, all delicious. We liked everything about this attractive space. Great room too.

Vibes were great, place was absolutely beautiful! The food was fine, nothing special about it, not worth the price, small small portions. We went for brunch btw.

Excellent food and local wine at a very high price in a 5 star hotel setting. If you’re looking for an intimate setting, this isn’t it. If you have the means and are looking for truly excellent food in modest portions, this is the place for you.

Food portions very small for the price of the food. It wasn’t busy but we had to wait quite a while for our food. It left us feeling a little underwhelmed. The atmosphere is picturesque.

We always enjoy a great dinner at Hickory when we come to The Virginian to play golf! Food, service and atmosphere are outstay!We look forward to our next trip.

Great atmosphere, amazing food and service. Staff was attentive and on top of every need and request. We ate dinner outside, then enjoyed time by the fire pit at the pond as the sun went down. A+++, highly recommend!
