   Had Sunday lunch here for my husband's birthday with two other family members in this upmarket restaurant. Enjoyed cocktails before the meal and then called to the table promptly for our time. Service excellent as was the food. Beef and lamb both delicious- lovely to see lamb on the menu. Starters all very nice and tasty. Compliments to the chefs. Pristine white tablecloths and a lovely ambience. We asked for the rather loud music to be turned down a bit which they did very pleasantly. (It was then background which was fine). Staff were very obliging and we all enjoyed our experience. Our third visit here and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

   We had Sunday lunch today 2 adults 1 child. the waitress gave different options for our son and was really helpful and attentive. We arrived early and had a few drinks in the bar which was so lovely with the singer and just such a nice vibe. The dinner today was absolutely the best dinner we have had out, (we usually go to branches or nest) which I still love but we both agreed everything about the food today was next level. The cheese soufflé is divine and everything down to the carrots that I initially whined to my husband that weren’t roasted and looked bland tasted liked they’d been slow roasted with fennel and were amazing. The best Sunday dinner ever and so reasonable for the level of food. Second time here the first time last year was great but not as amazing as today we are coming back next week and probably every week for the foreseeable. Thank you x

   Excellent fixed price menu, food was beautiful. Service was excellent as always, this is fast becoming our firm favourite. The lamb was stunning.

   Food and service were both excellent. Staff were all lovely, pleasant and very helpfully. Food was absolutely delicious but our only concern was there was just too much noise from the adjoining bar. It was really difficult to have a conversation around the table. Perhaps a partition could be built to help improve the ambience. Otherwise we had a lovely night

   One of my favorite restaurants in Newcastle. Excellent service, food fantastic and nice relaxing atmosphere.

   Really underwhelming meal for Mother’s Day today. £45 for two courses and the dinner was extremely disappointing. Tony portions today and having to pay £5 extra for a portion of peas and £5 extra for some carrots I found shocking. We were the first table in and the service was beyond slow. We had our meal without any veg or gravy for about 5 minutes. It was cold and very dry as if it was cooked yesterday. The gravy was very watery, meat was very tasteless , roast potatoes were disgusting we couldn’t chew them and veg was just a spoonful of mash , spoonful of swede and one tiny bowl of cabbage and brocolli. Nowhere near worth £110 - no one asked how the food was, service very slow and not very forthcoming. Won’t be returning unfortunately.
