Tasty! Maybe warn people that the yolk bun spills out a bit messily. It was delicious but almost got my shirt! But overall terrific service, delicious food.

Quality of ingredients and flavors are so good. Decor is quirky and interesting. Chairs are surprisingly comfy! Definitely need to finish with dessert, especially the pineapple buns and the mango pomelo sago. 👍

Service was very attentive and helpful. They did not have the Riesling listed on the wine list, so we tried a bottle of Frenzy Sauvignon Blanc -- very very nice. The food was interesting and creative. The crab soup dumplings were good but not excellent -- more pork than crab in the filling and they only serve 4 (many Chinese restaurants serve 6; these are better at Little Alley). All three mains were wonderful: fried rice with salty fish and chicken, pea shoots, and sizzling fried egg topped with enoki mushroom and sauteed pork medley. The desserts were so-so: coconut pudding and (quite unusual) gum tragacant with brown sugar. Cost before tax and tip: a good value at $125. We are looking forward to going back.

Hidden gem!! The food and service is wonderful, highly recommend. If you are stopping in for brunch/lunch go for the dim sum. If not, save your appetite for the entrees and chef recommendations for dinner, which are very authentic Cantonese and well seasoned.

3rd time here, wonderful first two experiences. But this time the noise was awful until after 8:30p, and one chicken dish was terrible (all fat and bone, almost no meat, and the cornstarch thickened sauce had no flavor.) The carp was better, and the green vegetables good, but we were very disappointed because we hoped we had found a good neighborhood restaurant.

Waitress was defensive and miserable- food was terrible. Decor is awful. Had such great expectations and it all fell so flat. We paid our bill and left the food on the table, it was that bad.

I love this place and even with so many options for good Chinese food in NYC, I would definitely come back every week. What a hidden gem to taste truly authentic Chinese food. Food and their SERVICE is always excellent. I would highly recommend it.
