The patio table we were seated at was uncomfortably low for my 6’2” dining companion whose legs barely fit underneath, and there was not much room for servers and guests to move behind my chair and between the wall - people were constantly passing too close to my back to be relaxing. At one point during my meal I had to get out of my chair and move it completely out of the way so that a family with a stroller could pass by. There were several cigarette butts on the patio beside my chair, where I did not want to put my purse. Food and service were fine, but was disappointed with the patio experience.

The food here was amazing, some of the best dishes I've ever had. I have dietary restrictions but did not feel like the flavor lacked anywhere or that there weren't options for me. Big cudos to the chef and kitchen staff. The service, however, was not the best. We waited about 25 minutes for our table, which wasn't a big deal, but we didn't receive any apologies. Also, my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had specified this on the reservation, but it was not acknowledged and we felt a little upset that the tables around us were walking out with cards signed by staff and being congratulated on their occasions. All this aside, our server, Fernando, was amazing. He made some awesome recommendations, and we honestly enjoyed everything he suggested. He was very kind, hospitable, and nice to chat with. This place is a must try!

This was our second time dining here and we believe the food and service are exceptional. The head chefs attention to deal to every dish, elevated every bite and flavour. This was our first time experiencing the tasting menu, which I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy sophisticated flavours. Thank you to Fernando our server, Anthony and Kevin for embracing their roles and contributing so much to our experience.

We had been waiting a long time to dine at Hexagon and it met and exceeded all of our expectations. The chef had been a guest chef at the Stratford Chefs School and had created a truly inspired menu that was one of the best in the 30 years we had been attending. Truly deserving of its Michelin star , perhaps worthy of 2 stars.

Rather competent cooking. some creative dishes. I like the Mexican and Japanese flourishes. Good choice if you don't want to head to Toronto but this restaurant would be hard to stand out amongst other fine dining restaurants there. On the plus side, this restaurant has a la carte menus that are better value.

We had the tasting menu with wine matching for 5 people. Everyone said it was the best meal they have ever had. We have had similar meals in other high-end restaurants, and none have come close to this excellence. The only criticism is the noise level. Everyone, including wait staff, sommelier, chef and all of us guests were shouting at the top of our lungs to be heard.
