Disappointing experience. Although they charge a no show fee, the place was almost empty at 8pm with only about 10% occupancy, and we understand why now. The atmosphere is rather of fast food eatery than high end restaurant charging around 50$ for entrees and around 30$ for starters. The lighting is not even with parts of the space lighted too much, the seating is far from cozy and too dense. The advertised panoramic view is barely seen from only a handful of tables. Instead of giving a service the personal loudly chatted in groups at the middle of the room . The drinks arrived in 20(!) minutes. We ordered Geisha and Hono ha cocktails. Both where of the same color and both tasted almost the same as ice tee from the bottle mixed with some alcohol . House dish Hestia rools, priced above 30$ for 8 very small rolls and another set of sushi rolls where dry and tasteless. 4 pieses of Sashimi priced just under 40$ smelled as freezer and had no taste. In order to pay we had to go to call someone twice as no one was paying attention to our attempts to attract attention from the table. Final bill for 16 small rolls, 4 Sashimi pieces and 3 cocktails was 157$ . Avoid !

The food was good and the atmosphere was great on the rooftop. The service was good too although apparently they close early on Sundays and didn’t seem too excited to see us show up for our reservation towards closing time. The two cocktails I ordered (bourbon drinks) were not made well. The food and drinks were overpriced. We decided to sit outside for the view because they told us they had heaters, but the heaters didn’t put out any heat. If they would fix these things and make their prices more reasonable I would return and try again.

Great food and service, both of our entrees were excellent. Great views outside on the balcony. Only drawback was it was a little pricey and drinks were especially a bit much. For a special occasion it’s definitely a go to.

Second time dining here. The food is very good with lots of variety. The service is great as well. I dined this time with my children and noticed they have no options for kids at all not even a different cup for drinking. This limits my ability to dine there. Maybe this is the intention??? must consider if dining with kids. But overall great experience.

There are plenty of great places to eat in Charlotte, however, if one does not take time to experience this Gem...you've done yourself a great disservice. Not only was the food some the the best that I've EVER tasted, the service and the atmosphere were beyond fantastic! We simply can't wait to go back and make this one of our regular hangouts with both Amanda and Birkin...two of the best to ever do it.

Considering our chef started the meal saying the staff had only told him 20 mins before that we were there for the omakase (I had confirmed this with host 48 hrs in advance) he was AMAZING. Lovely to chat with, food was beautiful and tasty. It felt like a super special dinner, which we haven’t had in awhile. I need a jar of that pickled wasabi!

Wonderfully panoramic rooftop setting for drinks and or dinner outdoors weather permitting. We had drinks outside and then dinner inside. Amanda, our server is probably one of the best servers we’ve ever had! She was helpful and enjoyable and attentive, in spite of being very very busy. We had a party of four and we all left saying that our entrée was one of the best we’ve ever had!

This was an amazing experience! I found Hestia on Instagram. I booked for a dear friend’s birthday and she was so Happy! Henry welcomed us at the front and lead us to our seat. Martin served us and was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and most of all FRIENDLY! He made sure to be overly attentive to the Birthday Guest which I loved! Derrick served our food and was so very concerned about our liking of our food choices. The experience was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!
