A gem of a place in downtown Waikiki. Everything from beginning to end was outstanding, and our waiter was one of the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant.
Great food, drinks and ambiance! Great spot for Happy Hour or a nice dinner outing.
This was back in the beginning of the pandemic. Super show and super quiet. Still, great service and delicious food.
We celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversary on March 8. Herringbone was recommended to us by our daughter and her husband. We looked at the menu online so we had a good idea on what to order.
Our server was outstanding. The food was great!! We will return soon.
A couple from Kapolei who came to celebrate her husband's 50th Birthday surprised us by paying our bill!! They overheard our server mention our 51st Anniversary.
We thanked them before leaving and mentioned that we were married at St. Augustine's By the Sea Catholic Church about a few blocks Diamond Head of Herringbone.
What a Generous Couple!!
Excellent food and drinks. I've been there several times and haven't been disappointed.
This was our third visit to Herringbone and as usual, we were not disappointed. Food and service were excellent and we love the ambiance in the outer seating area. We always order the Buffalo Octopus for appetizer but this time added the mussels, which was the special of the night---delicious! For entrees we selected the King Salmon and Seabass. Both were cooked perfectly and the flavors superb! Herringbone has become one of our favorite seafood restaurants.
This food is decent but for the price we probably won't be going back.
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and bottomless mimosas with friends and had an incredible time!!! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! We had Jimmy as our server and he was very attentive and friendly! It’s one of our favorite dining spots and we’ll be back many more times!
Our food was not the best. Our group had the breakfast burrito and avocado toast. The sausage in the breakfast burrito was kind of spicy. The avocado toast was not avocado, but guacamole on little toasts. Very small and disappointing. It was 3 little toasts for $18 and it wasn’t even avocado. Food was overpriced. The only good thing was the bottomless mimosas for $25.
Although there is a new menu, due to new owners, the food was still absolutely good!
Food was very good and service was at par with the food. Dined here two times this week and very satisfied each time.
Food is so small that you will starve to death , Alice 0. Service was good. $200 later had to go eat again
Service was very good. Everything else, average at best. Kitchen was extremely slow with restaurant at about 25% capacity. Jessica, my server was very efficient and pleasant. The rest of the staff, could care less. Definitely off my list.
Great ambiance! The food and the service were very good as well. I would recommend this venue for a special occasion or evening out with friends.
They use to have a oyster and wine special that was a good deal. Don't have that anymore. They use to have a better brunch menu with french toast and breakfast items. They have more of a pool side lunch menu. Expensive.
We ordered the $40 lobster roll and the French fries were cold. Tasted like it had been sitting out. Unacceptable for the prices.
Overall, food was just okay. Salmon wasn’t very good, super salty! Tons of lentils with a small piece of salmon on top. Should have had a veggie with it. Brussel sprouts were AMAZING!
We enjoyed the first dinner of the vacation. Taste and service was excellent but the air was so cold, so I could not enjoy the warm dishes long..
Service was terrible. Our waiter was rude about splitting the check and stated that it would take him 40 minutes to split the check by 8. It wasn’t even busy. Lastly, service was so bad he forgot to bring a drink out 45 mins later... price of food wasn’t worth it either for the terrible service.
The food was unbelievable. We really enjoyed every bite. Definitely a must when in Waikiki. Joseph really helped us with making our selections. Definitely save room for dessert. It’s worth it. 😍
Thank you for the extraordinary service for my friends and I on my bday. Excellent food as well. Roddick was a great and friendly server!!
I ordered a salad and it took 45 minutes to get it.
Herringbone Waikiki was an awesome experience and particularly appreciated the restaurant’s flexibility for a big party, our birthday cake, balloons, and our waitress was awesome!
Our waiter, Jimmy, was awesome - very personable, polite, and very attentive. Food was good, flowing champagne was excellent, but Jimmy made the overall experience a memorable one for our friend’s birthday celebration.
Amazing restaurant with great menu, ambiance and location. $40 for corkage was a bit nuts.
Food and service were excellent!
Loved our visit. Restaurant was a great experience
Stopped by for oyster hour and it did not disappoint. The oysters were really fresh and delicious and the bartender was attentive and fun. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure!
Hadn’t been back in awhile. Looks like prices have increased. 3 piece shrimp cocktail for $22 & not too good red wine $16-$18 a glass is a bit much. Service was excellent. Food was good, but hard to justify the cost. Not sure coming back unless happy hour
Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, great food. Tables are a bit crowded
Food was delicious
Attentive wait staff and excellent food and drinks.
Great setting. Fantastic staff.
I do NOT recommend to go this restaurant, definitely due to some of reasons as below.
1. Although I ordered Riesling Wine 2014, the bad waiter brought Riesling Wine 2018!! I asked him for checking whether they have the wine 2018 on the wine menu, however there is no the wine 2018. It means the waiter was about to deceive us, intentionally.
2. Different invoiced amount between when I signed at this restaurant and when I checked my credit card account system. As a consequence of confirmation to the credit card company, credit card company informed us that the restaurant have changed the tip amount after bill checked.
That's why I am trying to contact the restaurant in order to clarify the situation by email from Japan, but they have never answered yet.
Our family's precious time had been damaged by the waiter and the restaurant.
I am currently considering to take a legal action against the waiter and the restaurant.
Our waitress Jessica made our experience amazing, in addition to the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere.
The food was just mediocre and not worth what we paid. The server was very kind but bar and kitchen were very slow. Very. We were there for an hour and a half, had one drink an app and dinner.
Love the food, food is main heart of all restaurants. And i will be back again!
Birthday brunch with my family and was given great service. The food was also amazing
