Always have a great experience, especially with bottomless mimosas. Our waiter, Richard, was great and very patient with us.
I had a great time on my birthday. Best brunch on the island! Both the service and food were absolutely incredible. The outside patio was beautiful and the perfect setting. It was also comfortable for my 1 year old, and she loved her keiki macaroni and cheese. We will be back for sure!
We went for our anniversary dinner and weren't disappointed. The food was creative and tasty. While they focus on seafood their non-fish dishes looked very good. Our server was informed and did a very good job for us. We ate outside and the open air setting was beautiful with lots of plants and a clear view to the night sky.
The waiters here are on point! They know the dishes inside and out and really know their wines!
Small, in fact miniature, portions. Tasty but not outstanding food.
Went to Herringbone on Tues, 11/19 during Restaurant Week and was very disappointed. I have been there before and it was very good. Not sure If the Chef was just having a bad day, but our 1st Course and Dessert looked awful. Nothing like the pictures on RW AND also other customers who posted in RW's IG days later.
Our waiter did mumble something when he presented our bill about RW and your restaurant not having things, sorry. I feel a little ripped off paying full price for what we were served. The Entrees were delicious and so was the buffalo octopus (this was not part of RW).
You can see for yourself from my pics and you can decide if I'm not being reasonable in my opinion.
The server give the dark table to us even though we reverved few days before. Also we ask the other table near we allocated, she deny our request. Then other white people who arrive later allocate. I was feeling hard done by.
We went during Restaurant Week 2019. The appetizers were ok. The entrees were the best of the food. This is my second time dining here. They know how to cook a good piece of fish.
Restaurant week menu starts off with complimentary glass of bubbly. For food: (1) miso foie gras torchon - simply DELISH; (2) the avocado - good but needed way more ceviche; (3) braised short rib OR hamachi fillet (they ran out of Kama) - they were both alright, cooked perfectly, but needed more flavor, the short rib itself was bland and needed more seasoning and gravy; and (4) lilikoi shave ice - AMAZINGLY DELIGHTFUL and REFRESHING, the highlight of our meal and had so much components that were a beautiful blend of flavors and textures.
We tried Herringbone for the first time to experience their Restaurant Week menu. The interior decor is cozy, the living wall of plants adds to the comforting atmosphere. The food was delicious. Everything was beautifully plated and flavorful. We definitely want to come back again for their regular dinner menu as well as their brunches that we’ve heard about.
They had the best happy hour offerings. Very tasty!
I requested outside table and they prepared for us a nice one. Food was also great. My friends have never eaten poke. So I ordered poke pizza. At first they hesitated to try the "sashimi pizza" but they totally satisfied it. I was glad they liked it. Other dishes such as crab were delicious, too. Price was a little bit expensive for the quantity but quality met the price. Our table staff was really nice person. Fortunately it was not so noisy. I like to bring other friends when I have similar opportunities.
Herringbone is difficult to find if you’re not familiar with the location. It’s in a beautiful shopping mall, third floor, off in the back left corner. The ambience is fun and interesting. Be sure to eat outside. The food is very good. The Brussel sprouts are amazing. The salads were excellent. I shared the whole fish. It was pricey. I loved it. My share partner was less enthusiastic. This was a nice change of pace from the beach places we went to the rest of our trip. The service was consistently excellent.
We came to celebrate a birthday over Sunday brunch! The ambiance, food, & bottomless mimosas and rose did not disappoint!
Fantastic dinner . Seafood really delicious. Nice presentation of food on dinner plate
Market priced seafood for excellent value.
Loved the food and ambiance, great for our anniversary. The prime rib was divine.
・Herringbone Eggs Benedict*
king crab, uni, caviar, bacon, hollandaise, Hawaiian sweet bread
・Local Fish Taco
locally caught fish grilled or battered, cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, crema
sake/ginger beurre blanc, roasted pineapple, Hawaiian chili, island vegetables
Excellent dinner and service e
Food was quite good; service was excellent.
While the atmosphere is great, the food is not worth the price tag. There are better places to eat for much better prices.
Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful juice choices for your bottomless mimosas. A little pricey but a great atmosphere with friends and family make it all worth it
INSANE! Everything was perfection. Best steak I’ve ever had.
Great for Happy Hour. Fresh oysters for $2 and a great grilled octopus in a buffalo style sauce.
I loved the ambiance and service! Food was delicious as well! The furikake fries were super ono! Our waiter is THE best! I think his name is C Kim? He definitely made our first experience awesome !
Very cool restaurant, food was really yummy. We would definitely go back next time we’re in Oahu!
Have now been twice. Have had the pork chop and the salmon - both were excellent. Have tried the sides of mixed island veggies, whipped mashed potatoes, and the burrata - all were delicious. Great service and lovely atmosphere!
The catch of the day was spectacular but the fresh vegetables side was way over cooked. The service was horrible and SLOW. We waited over 30 min for one mixed drink and two wines with the excuse the bartender was unintended with orders but I looked around and half the restaurant and bar were empty.
My friend ordered muscles... the waitress came over and said she forgot the bowl for the shells but would bring it right away. She apologized when she handed us the bill that she had forgotten.
So our take... most of the food was worth coming back for but the service is not worth it
Such a beautiful venue. Such great service. I will come back again and again. Mahalo nui loa!
Food was very good. Prices were pretty high for the portions. Kinda tapas style at entree prices. But the food and cocktails were very good and the staff VERY friendly.
One of our favorite haunts on the Waikiki strip. The "Buffalo Octopus" is a must have.
Great restaurant with a perfect waitress and good food.
Great food and service and excellent surroundings
Happy hour oyster is a must. Service is excellent. We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday there.
Loved it! This was our first visit to Herringbone. Our server Conan warmly greeted us at our table, and kindly took our pictures with the enchanting dining room as our background. After consulting with Conan on menu options, we thoroughly enjoyed the eclectic fusion of flavors from our yellowtail crudo, buffalo octopus, brussels and mac nuts, roasted farm mushrooms, tomahawk ribeye, chocolate mousse cake, and the special chocolate hazelnut cheesecake. We’re so glad Conan mentioned the cheesecake special—delicious! Looking forward to returning to this restaurant to try the whole fish!
