Awesome! Very fresh
Great food, attentive staff and wonderful experience. Three pigs hash was delicious!
While visiting from Texas and exploring La Jolla, my husband and I dropped in to catch their oyster happy hour and drinks -- we loved it so much, we went back the next evening for dinner where they had live music and were much more crowded than the night before (Thursday lunch vs. Friday dinner). We had 2 totally different experiences and walked away from each happy and wanting to go back! I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Stunning Beautiful loved it
Excelente servicio y comida y el lugar está divino!!!
Good food and friendly service but not happy with 3% additional service charge. It’s not about money just not right I am wondering if this only restaurants in La Jolla that collecting additional 3%
Love this restaurant! Went here twice in two weeks. We always bring out of town guests here and everyone enjoys it!
Excellent, creative high quality ingredients- everything about the food was superior. The dining space was beautiful- very impressed.
Service was good to very good.
We will go back when in La Jolla.
We were excited about it given what we had heard and the pics, but were really disappointed. The prices are high which is fine if the food and service match, but both were below average. Nice room, but a real disappointment.
Awesome ambiance, indifferent service, but I think dude was having a bad day. Food was over priced for an over seasoned branzino and dry chicken. Live music was fantastic and carried the experience.
Excellent food and service. Contemporary yet charming architecture.
Food is really below average. service poor too.
Really speciel and super cool place - really delicious food og nice rustic decor
Delicious food and cocktails in a beautiful, cozy setting.
Great atmosphere, Professional service. Octopus was a unique appetizer.
Easter was not their best day. We were seated in the bar rather than the dining room, service was slow and food took forever, chilaquiles were awful.
We've been to this restaurant since it was first opened up. It has great ambiance. Lately, we've noticed the hostess has been less than friendly.
Went for Easter Brunch.....the pre-fix menu had a nice selection to choose from and the food was delicious.
Easter brunch was lovely. The prixe fix menu was a fun way to do brunch. I started with the cheese plate which was very tasty, enjoyed the lobster roll as my entree, and the key lime tart for dessert. The rose all day Special was fun, although I felt slightly rushed to leave once the meal was over (despite my drink being full). My boyfriend started with the oysters, which he devoured, the steak and eggs for his entree (steak was a thin, small cut, but the sauce was amazing!) and the chocolate pick for dessert. His Basil Lemonade Mimosa was fantastic. Our appetizers and entrees were wonderful, desserts forgettable, but overall was a nice Easter dining experience.
Such a cute place, like an Anthropologie catalog! Food was good and they have bottomless rose~!
Our food was very fresh and innovative in terms of presentation and use of interesting 8ngredients. Great experience.
Great food and drinks at a very cool location. The inside of the restaurant looks like a private courtyard and the vibe it puts off is very welcoming. Check it out when you’re in La Jolla.
Great ambiance, service and all that. Enjoyed the dining experience very much. Not my first time there but always a good time - everytime
Get the citrus salad! Beautiful environment. will definitely be back.
Monday night.... great vibe. We were a family of 4 visiting La Jolla for the first time celebrating a birthday. All of the appetizers were wonderful and three out of the four entrees were very well done. We are from the east coast and when we see “Lobster Linguini” on the menu we immediately expect to see large chunks of lobster claw and or lobster tail (grilled and tossed in large amounts of butter , wine and garlic). Definitely did not expect to have a plate of what tasted like canned lobster meat that had been ground in a food processor and thrown on top of properly cooked pasta .... it is my hope that no one have to experience eating a dish that is so simple to recreate at home and be disappointed that they have to leave most of the meal on the plate at a. Restaurant ....message to chef: if you don’t know how to do it then don’t .... ruined a perfect evening!! It was interesting that as the waiter cleared the table he said nothing about clearing a plate that was hardly touched!! Pay attention people ... you have competition!!
Quite disappointed. Even if kitchen backed up - unacceptable food served, why make a reservation if it takes 20 minutes to be seated.
Great place for Brunch. The bottomless mimosas is where it's at for they use quality champs and fresh squeezed OJ. The food, my group all agreed, could use some improvement. Most dishes are around $20 which is pretty steep for breakfast food and the options weren't too appealing. So overall, mimosas and ambiance is what stands out.
Delicious brunch menu, friendly and efficient service, relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Really enjoyable experience! Will definitely go again when in town.
We had such a great dinner that we came back for brunch. That was so good we came back for breakfast the next morning. The chef was nice enough to give us a luscious little fudgy slice of cake as a thank you treat for our business! Honestly, we would have baked him a cake! This place is great to look at, friendly, the food is wonderful--we especially love the breakfast, and even though dinner is a bit noisy, we'd come back (we are both 70, and my mom is 90--I know that's not the cool crowd, but we like to slum!).
Excellent atmosphere, great very attentive service. Food very good nice wine options. Would visit again
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. Started off with oysters for happy hour and there was beautiful live music. We got the pork chop and curry mussels which was soooooo good! The yellow curry was so good my boyfriend and I wished we could order a side of rice just to mix it in. Overall delicious food. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants good food in la jolla
Let me start off by saying the restaurant is trendy gorgeous. Who wouldn't love trees in in the middle of the warehouse open dining area decorated with lights and artwork. I made Opentable Thursday 7:30 reservations. Upon arrival we were greeted and seating at a table for 2 next to one of the beautifully lite trees, Rune our server introduced himself and gave us the rundown of the menu and his recommendations since we were newbies.
We ordered cocktails while perusing the menu. My dining partner and I decided to do the sharing of dishes and order additional as we go along. Of course we had to order the famous $27 Whole fish Ceviche (Shallot, Fresnos, Lime, Micro Cilantro), in addition we ordered the Curried Mussels (Yellow Curry, Calabrian Chili Oil, Mint, Naan). First off the cocktails were great! When the fish arrived it was presented beautifully. The fish was fresh, though it could of been sliced thinner especially if you are serving sashimi style (my opinion a little over priced). The mussels came next, tiny and overcooked was the words to describe, I mean tiny and the curry sauce was so salty. Needless to say I brought it to Rune's attention and it was quickly taken off our bill especially at $19. We were asked then if we wanted to order more dishes, at this point I was quit turned off, so no.
Atmosphere: Trendy gorgeous, Service: very good, Food: very average with a high price though I would come back for drinks and atmosphere.
The waiter was inattentive, and the food was mediocre at best , and overpriced for what we were served.
It was a wonderful dinner. Presentation was fabulous. Food came out fast and hot. Our dinners were excellent, really unique, both of our fish dishes were an A+ !!
Attentive waiter as well. Would recommend again any time. Ambiance was really fun, whimsical, elegant and festive. Love the lights and trees.....feels like an upscale fantasy forest with twinkling lights all around. The glow of the fireplace was especially lovely. The lighting was nice, low, but there was enough to make it easy to see the menu too!! :)
Loved this beautiful restaurant! Delicious flatbread pizza and loved the mussels. Our waiter, Tristan, was attentive without being too much. The desserts were fabulous!
We had a wonderful dinner and was fortunate to have met the Executive Chef to thank her personally for an amazing meal! We will definitely go back again and again.
It was my second visit and it is an excellent place for seafood. I like the lively atmosphere. The price is somewhat on the high side.
Squash blossoms were excellent, with 5 in the order. Bronzino was superb. Pasta with lobster was a dud--tablespoon of ground lobster (?) meat placed on top of pasta. 1/2 price wine on Tuesday was a plus.
It was my wife's birthday and we wanted a place that was kid friendly and great dining for us.
Herringbone was able to fit our needs and we were very impressed with everything they had to offer. Great place to go!
Although the food was very good, we went for lunch not knowing there was only brunch offered. The menu on line is misleading for the weekends. The item we ordered was very good, but the service was not good. The waiter never came over to check on us, and I had to flag over a bus person to get our tea refilled. Even when the waiter came to give us the check, he still didn't ask how our meal was.
