Outstanding 6 course tasting menu. Worthy of a Michelin star. Ideal wine pairings to match the dishes. Very attentive service.

Came here as our usual places were fully booked. A reservation was easy to get and when we arrived the place was almost empty which should have been a warning. Very expensive for what we got. An example- Tasting Menu for one was $110 and had to stop elsewhere for some food as we all left still hungry. Will not return.

Everything from food & drinks to service was amazing! The brunch options were delish - we had Lemon Thyme Scone, Lobster Benny, Shakshuka. We’ll definitely be back!

An absolute gem that just keeps getting better! Took my daughter for our Mother’s Day celebration and we were blown away. I so appreciate the option for a tasting menu AND the flexibility to make your own or have 2-3 plates each as a meal. I know this makes things more complicated for the restaurant but it is truly lovely as a customer. John was fabulous as always and seems even better suited to this new chic local. Kudos Jenny, you make life on The Kingsway fun and tasty!

I went to Heron with friends and we were not disappointed. Excellent service, drinks, and the food was very tasty. We will go back for sure.

We had high hopes for the Valentine’s Day tasting menu. The food was good quality but, after a six course meal, we left hungry. Every plate was no more than 1-3 bites of food. The service team was understaffed. Our server was a pro but he was waiting 20 tables on his own.

i had a wonderful date night here with my fiance and we were so pleasantly surprised by the level of service provided and the uniqueness of the flavours. Kelly was very attentive and took the time to explain the dishes and their components and also mentioned that the tasting menu changes quite frequently. everything on the menu looked so good that we had to try multiple dishes! the decor of the restaurant and ambiance was perfect for a date night and we are so thankful to have found this restaurant nearby because we will definitely be back. instead of driving all the way downtown, you should definitely check out this restaurant!
