I booked a large party, 5 families, at Hernando’s pizza for dinner on OpenTable. From the beginning, the owner/manager was rude and completely unpleasant. I was told that if there was a kids’ table, I would be escorted out. She obviously did not want our party to dine with them and trust me, I won’t EVER again. I would like to point out that after being completely inflexible about seating and unkind about our number, we left that restaurant no worse for the wear. The kids were polite and the bill was paid promptly. The food was great, too bad the attitude was less than to be desired. I was completely embarrassed to have suggested the location.

Family ski trip dinner. Be sure to use OpenTable to book your reservation far in advance (a week or more) if you’re wanting to eat here during Spring Break. It’s very popular, especially with families. We had a party of 12, including five kids/grandkids under age 10.

We had a wonderful family dinner after skiing. Our server was awesome - friendly, attentive and efficient. The pizza was delicious - definitely enjoy the thick crust with honey! Great chill ambiance. Cozy and lively but not too crazy. Highly recommend!

The antipasto salad lacked as it was greens with Italian dressing. I remember the days when there was actually strips of meat, cheese and peppers on top of the lettuce.

To be expected on a Friday night in winter park during ski season but place was absolutely packed. Glad we had a reservation. Took 50 minutes for our food to arrive after our order. That’s crazy long in my book.

We had some great pizza, to be sure! The server was very friendly and offered great advice about the types of pizza. It wasn't quiet, but that’s to be expected with an apres ski crowd. The food came out quickly and was fresh, which was incredible considering the packed place. They do take reservations, and it made the difference between walking into a table or waiting 45 minutes.

Always top notch! We’ve been lucky to have a Molly as our server twice and she always makes the experience even better! We had a big group this time and she was so patient and kind, she even remembered the kids names. When we left, my boys asked if they get paid to be extra nice, the kindness of the staff even stood out to them. Love this place!

Cowboy knows how to make a pizza/pasta restaurant a fun and special experience. The food is amazing and prices are perfect and affordable. From the front door hostess, the servers, bartenders and Cowboy himself walking around, all are just the best. It's always fun to see Christian (Whit)(our favorite server) when we come. We're locals out of Granby, and have been coming to Hernandoes since 2005. WE'LL BE BACK AND WE'LL BE BRINGING FRIENDS!

Hernandos has some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. This place is a must whenever we have guests here in Winter Park, although my husband and I frequent it even without houseguests. Try the honey on your crust-yummy.
