Superb food. If you don’t like the noise, try one of the side rooms for a more cozy atmosphere.

We've been to Hertiage several times now, both with and without the family. The food is consistently good and creative. For families, the main dining area is fine. But for dates and other intimate occasions, it's just too loud and crowded. There is a smaller dining area off to the side, but there doesn't seem to be any way to preselect it.

I was looking forward to my first Sunday brunch at Heritage, especially after I had read that the new ownership/chef had previously worked at notable Boston restaurant. While the ambiance was pleasant, the rest was a disappointment. It was very busy when we arrived, and even though we had a reservation, we were seated half an hour late. I eat mostly vegetarian, so I ordered the mushroom quinoa burger. The burger was quite dry. On the positive side, the waitress happily let me substitute a side salad for the French fries, though the salad dressing was tasteless and mostly oil. While the service was attentive, all else was disappointing.

Service was great - our server was so friendly and welcoming. Food was great too. Noise level was high and restaurant was not filled. Older dining companions had trouble with noise level. Will be back again!

The “ key lime pie “ was a disgrace of an odd slime like conconction spooned over a single boxed chocolate graham cracker . It is overpriced even though it is situated in an affluent town .

We had a reservation @ 6:45 for the pub but were told the pub was full. The reservation was not honored because other parties had taken the table. Why take a reservation if you don’t reserve a table? We were then seated in a hot dark dining room to the right of the hostess station. The service was horrible including the waiter showing up at the end of the meal to apologize for forgetting about us. An overall terrible experience which is at sharp contrast with our prior visits for brunch in the pub. Taking a drive to Sherborn is not worth the effort for such a mediocre experience.

This was my fourth visit to Heritage, and I was somewhat disappointed by the food - both my dish and my husband's dish was way too salty for my palate. It is loud and tight, which is fun for a Happy Hour or drink at the bar, but not great for my date night celebrating my anniversary.

I've dined at this place for over 30 years, but only several times since the change in ownership from the Sherborn Inn to Heritage in Sherborn. Under new ownership, the brunches have been great, but lunch and dinner disappoint, in terms of food quality and preparation. At our most recent visit, our server was friendly and came back to the table many times to refills drinks and water glasses, but the kitchen was excruciatingly slow. Perhaps it was because two of our party ordered pizza (which they finished); it certainly wasn't because of a large lunch crowd. My Cobb salad with chicken was unlike any Cobb salad I've had. The breast of chicken was was prepared, but the salad had a bizarre mix of blue cheese, ham, limp red onion and salad greens (the dressing was quite good, however). The bar area is noisy with even a modest crowd. Lunch entrees were reasonably priced, but certainly no bargain. The Sherborn Inn used to be a "go to" restaurant, but the new Heritage of Sherborn doesn't distinguish itself from any neighborhood restaurant.
