   Wasn’t sure what to expect from Heritage but it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Wouldn’t definitely put it on the list of places to go back. Next time I will try the wine pairing. Wine pairing seems like a good deal, but my wife is pregnant so did not want to drink alone.

   We were visiting out of town and came here for an early thanksgiving dinner. It was spectacular! The food was amazing, perfectly balanced, and very filling without being too heavy. The wine pairing was also delicious. The service was stellar as well! Nicholas was super sweet and friendly, and the owner was also very attentive and helpful with service. The ambiance was a bit dim but provided a very cozy and comfortable dining experience; you feel like you’re a part of their family! Overall, this was a TERRIFIC thanksgiving dinner and I will be coming back!

   This was our first time eating here and we had a delicious gourmet dinner! Everything was prepared to perfection and paired exceptionally well with a wine. It’s not the kind of dinner you can have all the time and reserved for special occasions.

   We didn’t know that dinner is prix fixe for $86, so we were a bit stunned. For a moment, I considered leaving, but considering the Open Table policy of cancellation, we stayed. Thank goodness we did. We had one of the top meals that we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. It was truly outstanding. The service was absolutely perfect—-timely, professional, friendly and unobtrusive. The setting and ambiance are also excellent. The only drawback is that it got somewhat smokey at times. It was a good scent, but a little too much at times. LBC is our hometown, but now we live in OC. That notwithstanding, we will definitely make the drive and return soon. Really a remarkable and extraordinary experience. Highly recommended. Thank you for such a wonderful return to the city that still has our heart.

   Excellent food, good service, fun evening. However, I wouldn’t do the wine pairing again—-instead, I would take advantage of Wine Wednesday. I didn’t feel as if there was an emphasis on the wine chosen for each course. Our waiter worked with us patiently on our dinner choices and substituting one of the wines. 👏🙏🏻

    Our second time at Heritage and this time we sat at a table for four near the front door. It was a good deal quieter there than in the dining area on the west side of the restaurant where we were last time. Really enjoyed the menu items and learned that we could order an additional entre so we ordered the diver's scallop. I especially enjoyed the amberjack crudo, the duck breast and the toasted marshmallow ice cream and I thought the wine pairings were even better this time. We got smarter after our last visit and arrived and departed via UBER this time and saved ourselves the hassle of finding an elusive parking space. :)

    This was undoubtedly my favorite dining experience in Long Beach thus far, and I've lived here for nearly 5 years. It is a must visit. Always add the truffle oil!

    The $85 dollars 4 course tasting menu was okay but way too expensive for what was served. This first course was a one bite mushroom tart, it was delicious but sadly wished I was given more. Second course was kanpanchi crudo that was served at room temperature, never had room temp crudo before. Third course was the dry aged duck served over lentils with one sliced of grilled endive. Lastly was the saddest dessert I was ever served, 2 quarter sized crackers topped with blue cheese, honey, and mint. Literally nibbled my dessert so it can last more than 2 bite.

    I was visiting Long Beach for business and wanted a local experience with ingredients sourced locally and prepared in a thoughtful and exquisite manner. That was exactly what I found at Heritage; the seasonal menu was sublime, the ambiance warm and inviting. All of this am being able to watch the magic as good is prepared with precision and grace. I’ve already booked my next visit!

    Truly a special culinary experience, definitely a meal that would be nearly impossible to replicate at home. My wife and I have started to become a little jaded when finding higher end cuisine in LA, but Heritage delivers. I highly recommend going with the wine pairing, it really accents your journey. You can tell that their team takes special care in curating the very best meal for you. Worth it!

    The three of us very much enjoyed the food and service at Heritage! 4 courses plus a wine pairing with each course. Except for the apetiser, we all ordered differently so we could share and taste as many offerings as possible. We each enjoyed every taste. The only downsides were: 1) Parking: only 3 spaces at the restaurant, otherwise it is street parking. We will likely Uber or Lyft next time. 2) The restaurant is a little on the noisy side. Even so, highly recommend!

    So fabulous on so many levels. To us, this place is like an oasis in a food dessert (I personally find LB's food scene to be sub-par and low quality). We are so thankful Heritage is in our community and feeding people with such care, passion, and concern for the health of people, the earth and animals. We wish the menu would get updated every month, but we will take what we can get! Every dish was delectable, interesting, and harmonious. So many naturally gluten-free options (thank you, thank you). Absolutely get the wine pairing! Every glass was a treat. And the service and vibe is very warm and communal, not snobby at all. Can't wait to return!

    Wowie!! Four course tasting meal for $75. For the quality of each dish, it was a bargain! Every dish was so creative and delicious. Favorite dishes were the oyster starter, hamachi crudi, cabbage, duck, lamb… basically everything we ordered was amazing. Wine pairing was perfect. Will definitely be back.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Heritage last night and they went above and beyond to make it special. From the most sincere and engaging greeting to the incredible service, we enjoyed everything about the staff and the space. We joined their wine dinner and were blown away by the beautiful food. The presentation was beyond my expectations and the food/wine pairing was so well thought out and orchestrated. I highly recommend Heritage and look forward to going back to check out the rest of their menu!

    This jewel on 7th St should be discovered by more people. It is so deserving of its Michelin Guide mention. In fact, it should get a Michelin star for its wonderful dinner menu: the dishes are beautifully presented and even more important, incredibly delicious. This is top-notch culinary skills and inspiration right here in Long Beach. There is someone behind this food that is very passionate about the quality and innovation of the plates delivered to your table. Double thumbs-up and I wish had more digits to wave in the air!

    Incredible service, really beautiful food. Delicate and defined flavors. My only critique is that once that place fills up it gets LOUD. I felt my gf and I were yelling to each other by the end of the meal. I’d love to take my parents here but would be worried they would have some significant challenges participating in the conversation. Would maybe need to stick to an earlier reservation. Otherwise I will be back! Honestly, I think this might be the best restaurant in Long Beach.

    Decided to try Heritage for my first time for my birthday. Some people may feel worried about the pre fixe menu with no modifications allowed, but don’t be!! It was so refreshing to just let the chef do his thing and everything was absolutely delicious!
