   We are regulars and we live nearby. Outstanding food, as always. My favorite item is the turkey burger and I opt to add the avocado. Service is friendly and fairly attentive, even on a busy night. In spite of the reservation, we waited 30 minutes for our table. We received lots of apologies and two free appetizers, which we appreciated. There really isn't a good place to wait, so it was an awkward 30 minutes. The bar area was crowded and we had our two teenagers with us. Usually, we do our best to avoid Saturdays. This is just the kind of place people like to hang out and forget about the time, so Heritage probably shouldn't allow reservations on Saturday nights at all. Other popular neighborhood restaurants had to do that during the first few years.

   Super super disappointed in food. GA Shrimps were absolutely the worst shrimps that you could imagine and taste. It came with watery diluted bean broth , tasteless greens. Ham was just thrown there to save the situation but it didn’t. The dish smelled anguished. Even simple chicken and grits tasted better. The special watermelon salad was good , except I asked for no cilantro and in came with it anyway (this is servers fault). Gazpacho came as plain sliced radishes and greens, it’s not an actual summer soup, not a hint of classic gazpacho. I respect the creativity but this was just off. The place itself looked very contradicted. It looks like they’ve invested in to the bar area but dining room looked sad and outdated with its bizarre painted walls. It does seem like the restaurant has strong management and they try hard with the servers , however both managers and servers looked hectic and that they had things out of control.

   The surroundings are cool / rustic. The beer selection was excellent and I tried a flight of their beers. All were very good and as described in the menu. The food selection is a little limited, but the quality was excellent on everything we ordered which is much more important to me.

   The brewpub has a great atmosphere and vibe! Not only that, but when the staff knew it was my birthday, and that I was lactose intolerant, they brought coconut sorbet and a candle to celebrate! The drinks were very tasty, but I wish they offered some sort of brunch discount for them.
