The hostess where very very rude

Food was great, our server was very nice and attentive. We celebrated Valentine’s Day and it was a great experience.

The service was fantastic, and when your server is as pleasant and attentive as ours was, it made the experience that much more enjoyable.
The steaks were perfectly cooked, delicious and hot. Try the cheddar ranch potatoes. You won’t be disappointed!
We can’t wait to return!

Hereford House is, of course, a higher end steakhouse, so the food can be expensive. However, it was cooked very well and was delicious.

Best meal we've had in a long time. Our server Linda was outstanding. All food was tasty and served hot and as asked.

We always love the Hereford House so we went for Valentines Day. The waitress greeted us right away, brought bread and drinks and took our order for the Sweetheart deal for 2. Our appetizer came out right away but then our salads were there minutes later so we asked if they could slow down a bit so we weren’t rushed. Well that was the last time we saw our waitress for about 30 minutes. Another waiter saw us looking around and asked if we needed something. We said yes, our entrees. He returned and said our order was coming up next, and it came out about 10 minutes later. The food was fine but we felt like the service could have been better. Will go there again but not on a holiday- especially if we can only get an 8:15pm reservation.

We had an amazing server who was polite and very quick when we needed anything!

Our waitress was wonderful, kept our coffee hot & the ice tea , did not hover, but was readily available if needed. The steaks were cooked just to our likings and tasted delicious. It was a wonderful dinner.

Best steak in KC, the steak soup could be a meal by itself.

I believe Zane was our waiter and we was great. The food was very disappointing especially with how much it cost.

There were 6 of us so our server Jarrod was really busy and he was very good and very attentive to all our needs. I hope we can get him again when we next dine at Zona Rosa Hereford House. It was my husband’s birthday ....so thanks for making everything special for him.

We had a very attentive server, Alan, who kept up with our requests. Food was delicious. Strawberry daiquiri needed more strawberry, less rum. Pleasant experience overall.

Very good, attentive service staff. Hostess was very welcoming. Steak was a little chewy but extremely flavorful. Generous glass of wine which is never a bad thing and the server was able to recommend a great Cabernet

That is way over priced I have had a better steak and service at Texas Roadhouse

We went during restaurant week, and our food was delicious, service was spectacular. Rachel was our server and she did a fabulous job! The pimento cheese with habanero jam was so good! And our steaks were perfectly cooked.

Went to Hereford House for Restaurant Week and the food was fantastic! The 12 ounce top sirloin steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection, the house salad was huge, the mashed potatoes and broccoli were delicious, and the carrot cake was terrific! This is one of the best dinners I've had in a long time!

Very attentive service. The food was spot on and timely in its delivery. They appeared to be following all of the best practices and guidelines for Covid. Their Prime Rib is always meets expectations.

It started of bad with the waitress rolling her eyes and shaking her head cause she didn't take my sons drink order and I had to tell her plus cause were wearing casual clothing she took forever to get to us after letting the manger know the manger got us another waiter had to ask for refills cause they didn't check on us. Plus on the calamari it doesn't say they are spicy with hot peppers and got charge extra for milk to cool down my mouth. Food was excellent though. And the hostees were very kind and pleasant

My fiancé and I enjoyed a nice steak dinner before getting engaged later in the evening. It was a fabulous start to a night we will remember forever!

Everything was excellent with exception to the cooks skill in determining what medium constitutes - my steak was far too rare for my liking. I did not complain to management because I’m not looking for recompense - it’s times like these that people need work and my complaining would have made someone’s day worse than what it needed to be.

Our reservation was a little delayed but the hostess kept updating and asked if an earlier reserved couple could go first. We said "of course!". Dinner was amazing.

We enjoyed our meal at Hereford House. The service was excellent, the food was great and the price was appropriate.

This was my first time at Hereford House. After being at multiple other local steakhouses I was disappointed with my experience here. I got the NYE Feature which was a KC Strip oscar style with scallops, baked potato and asparagus. I ordered the steak medium rare and to my surprise it actually came a little UNDER cooked. The steak itself was mildly under seasoned and a little tough. My baked potato was good and the asparagus was nothing special. Our server was the highlight of the evening. He was very friendly and helpful. He joked with our table and made the dining experience better.

We sat at the bar and had excellent service! Our bartender David was attentive and did a fantastic job with menu and drink suggestions. The special crab bisque for New Years was some of the best I’ve ever tasted! It should be on the regular menu for sure. We love Hereford House and the people are the main reason why!

Our server was really good. Checked on us frequently and was very prompt. Our steaks were fantastic! One of our favorite places to go!

Our server was Mallary and she was amazing- we never had to ask for anything she was on top of it! Our food was fantastic- we had dinner for two, delicious prime rib for both us, yummy crispy pork, great salad and steak soup, and for dessert we had white chocolate bread pudding that was a perfect ending to our fantastic dinner.

Usually a good place but the last two times we ate here And had reservations we DID NOT get our 100 points. This is very disappointing! Also last time we ate at this restaurant it was my birthday and the server denied us a birthday treat. This was the first time EVER Hereford House has denied bd desert. Pierponts always serves Bd desert. They send me the same info every bd. Disappointed!!!!!!!!

Our dinner at Hereford House, Zona Rosa was fantastic. We have ate here 2 times prior and have never had a bad meal. The service was very good. They also have a great dessert menu.

Server was slow and we had to ask three times for drinks and salad. Prime rib was cooked okay but very fatty pieces that were over cooked. Server never came back. I put money on the table after 20 minutes of waiting.

We had a reservation for a birthday and it was not acknowledged. We were put into a private dining area which was nice except the table was uneven. Seevi e was ok and food was alright. Probably go to outback next time.

We had dinner for five and were put in a small room off the dining room. It was fantastic. The food was delicious, the wait staff was superb, and we had a lovely time!
