Henry's Tavern - Bellevue
Friendly staff and good food.
When you have to chase down the waitress, not only to take your order but to pay your bill...well it runs the rest.
SATURDAY HAPPY HOUR - CHICKEN TENDERS ARE THE BEST...TENDEROUS I'VE EVER HAD! GOOD CHOPPED SALAD, GORGANZOLA FRIES WERE MESSY AND WE WOULD PROBABLY TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT. GREAT MARGARITA TOO
Waitress was slow, we had to wait forever to get water, drinks, food and finally had to track her down for our bill.
I asked for a cider and she brought out wine. I had fish/cod tacos
Loose breading. Was all breading I couldn’t eat it in the taco. I had to pick out the fish. Came with some weird side sauce. They taste great with just the cod. It came with an entire plate of chips. We all kinda laughed. There were like 40 chips. Didn’t eat them. Remove that from the entree. Swap it with something like corn salsa salad or something more then chips. They didn’t even come with salsa it was just weird. Burgers were average nothing special about them. Add steak fries or something with them. Was disappointed. Expand your cider options as well and flavored vodka.
Server was great. Fish tacos were mainly breading and over cooked. I had two different margaritas and they were small and weak and not that great. Fries were over cooked as well, and the Gorgonzola dressing was sort of a white gravy without much flavor. I don’t think we would go back.
We had a great evening at Henry's Tavern. Nice table in the bar for 9 people, fantastic server and delicious food! The basketball games were on and you could see the TVs from every seat. We enjoyed our night and will definitely be back. Thank you!
Yes, but they really really rushed us. Had a check before we could order dessert so we went elsewhere for that. Total sit down time = 40 min.
Generally ok, but food wasn't great. Orange Chicken in particular was dry and both people who ordered that were disappointed.
Group had good evening overall.
We had a large group on a tight schedule, with people on the same check split up across several different tables (our choice). Our waitress was awesome. She was polite, accurate, fast and very flexible. She arranged 15 separate checks and got the right people and the right orders on each one. The food was delicious, served quickly and we had plenty of time to make it to our next event. We will definitely return to Henry's Tavern and definitely recommend it to friends.
Lilian was great. Very accommodating
Excellent customer service, great food, and a wonderful place to connect with friends and family. Enjoy!
Decent food. The pear salad was great. Kitchen was a bit slow.
Overall good experience. The service was a little spotty and the food was okay.
First we had ever been in to Henry's Tavern, my husband said his burger was really good, I had the fish n chips, it was ok, but didn't like all the breading they put on the fish, other wise it was good.
Went to hhr and ordered sushi roll, calamari and the burger with drinks. Sushi roll tasted pre made and refrigerated. Rice was hard and lacked rice vinegar. Other stuff was better but not memorable.
Our order came out wrong and it was hard to find our waiter. But good food and the waiter was nice when we spoke with him .
I think our server may have been new as she struggled a little. It took a really long time to get our food. The food was OK, but not spectacular. We did enjoy our night out though and I love that they take reservations!!
Great GF options, including a dedicated fryer! Definitely coming back. Only negative was lighting at our table. Across from table was the server register that light reflected off the screen and blinded the person sitting across. But too dark to comfortably read the menu.
Server was. It very friendly. The tv’s were too loud.
Food was not hot.
Food was good, service was average, noise level HUGE as the Seahawks vs Cowboys was on the TVs. All in all, we liked the food. The waiting staff were average - one of us ordered a particular type of wine... (White) and a red turned up. So, prepare for an OK meal but you might not get what you order. Lol. We’d give it another go to see if they get it right next time 👍🏻
The bar manager Brian Finley took great care in finding us a decent table for the Seahawks Game. The food and service was excellent. Great place to watch live sports with a group!
Not enough servers : (
Yay! We loved it.
It was a special occasion.
There was a hair in the appetizer.
One of the drinking glasses had food stuck in the inside.
Other than that it was OK.
Due to the special occasion we had to try and enjoy and not let these little things ruin it.
Ordered the Bourbon Brussel Sprouts -delicious
Brewhouse Burger-very good except the chips were not crunchy
Halibut Fish/chips- very good except the chips were nit crunchy
Southwest Grilled Chicken Tacos- didn’t seem grilled at all, more like steamed. Was OK, would not order again
very good but the service was a little bit slow. really good food
This was our second visit and we enjoyed the food. They were out of the ribs, which was a disappointment.
We got to view snowflake lane on their balcony! It was so much fun!
Would love to more vegan and healthier options.
Realy liked the surf board game
We visited Henry's two in two days. The first was because we saw it on yelp and open table. The 2nd time was not by choice. They seemed to be the only person that would accept the large party we had.
The first night it was not very busy and we ordered apps and entree's. The apps came out at the same time as the entree's. This really bothers me. The food quality was "okay". The beer selection was great though.
The 2nd night it was much more busy and we had a larger party. We once again ordered apps and guess what......they came out with our entree. This time I was a little more upset. I understand errors like this once, but the following night as well......not acceptable. I did voice my concern.
Overall: average food, nice atmosphere, subpar service (food timing).
Went during lunch hour. At 11:30 am the restaurant was quiet but by noon it was quite busy. Great service and food. Reasonably priced. Host and serving staff were very attentive.
The food was great and the service was very focused on us insuring we had a great time the chef was great and mingled in the restaurant.
The people here were super friendly and very welcoming!
Family Xmas weekend
Went for lunch with work team. Had new waitress, service was slow due to another large party before us yet was not communicated to us. At end of experience shared concerned with manager and she was very gracious and listened to feedback. Hope it gets better. Good place for groups for lunch if staffed properly. Also looks like a fun place to watch sports and hang out for happy hour or dinner. Chose this restaurant due to location to office and on RU Awards. Will try again.
I have eaten here three times now and the food is always good. I especially love the pork tacos. It was a busy Saturday night the last time we went and the waitress warned us the kitchen was behind. At the end of our meal the manager had comped our food even though we never complained which I thought was pretty awesome.
My friends and I gathered for a good-bye dinner. There were 8 of us. We reserved a semi-private room, which was great because we could all hear each other. We also really enjoyed using the shuffleboard!
Very slow service as usual. Keep trying but always extremely slow
We ended up not staying for dinner. The TV's were up so loud in the bar for Thursday Night football, it sounded like we were in a movie theatre. Great for the bar crowd who came for football. Not so great for those in the dining room who wanted to have a conversation with friends. But we've been before and will come back. Just not on a football night unless we're there for football.
Good food, good service, good value and a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Look for menu additions with upcoming first anniversary of Bellevue location.
Henry's Tavern is a fun and relaxed atmosphere and the menu is upscale tavern fare. The service is always excellent.
