Everything about Henry’s is good but not great... Food selection is good and quality and taste is good. Service is good and price is good. A place to go for every day dining and not be disappointed but don’t expect to be wowed beyond belief.
Terrific I will go again
Haven't eaten here in many years. Shared a shrimp appetizer that was very tasty and just spicy enough for us (might be too much for others). I had the crab cake w/rice and asparagus. Took one home plus half of the sides. Hubby had the veal parm/spaghetti, again half taken home (probably cause we ate the shrimp first!). Restaurant typically noisy, but we had good service and a good pour of wine (approx. $10 per glass). Should have gotten the $20 bottle special. Our desserts of coconut cream pie and a chocolate turtle were yummy (also took home half!). All in all, will frequent more often.
The hostess was very accommodating with a couple of special requests when I arrived.
Server was attentive. I had the pork chop with apple compote - very tasty. My mom had the filet tips with the horseradish gratin. She liked it very much. We enjoyed the $20 wine bottle special. They had a nice selection on the list. We will be putting Henry's on the Friday night rotation list! Always consistent.
Good food at Henry’s and excellent value if you order from the Sunset Menu. At times the noise level was annoying but overall a very good dining experience.
Wonderful service in bar area. Good consistent food.
Had a great waiter named Donald, and he enhance the entire experience. Very rare to meet a service person that absolutely is one of the highlights of the restaurant. Food was well prepared, able and delicious!! Will return
New owners, same menu and service ( almost ) for now. I'm guessing the new owners are not training the bus-boys to push, the way the old mgmt. did. The only negative change this visit, was in the service from the bussing end. Plates were left for the waiter to clean off-not the case before. Other small signs of a lack of training of the bussing staff.
Everything else was as it was before, which helped make us regulars. Remains to be seen?
Awful! Way too many mistakes. Their Pot Roast was not that but a fatty disgusting blob of short ribs. Sent it back! Their Caesar salad which used to be good under old owners was tasteless. Apparently the dressing has been changed for the worst. Finally we ordered desert and they brought wrong desert to the table! Manage was very nice, apologizing, etc., but will not be returning to Henry's.
Great meal with good company. My ONLY complaint was that we were 7 people at a table comfortable for 6. This has occurred at other restaurants as well. If you have a table half full of toddlers it’s not an issue !
Highly recommend this place. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday and retirement, she absolutely loved this place and so did our group. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely excellent!
Our faviorite local restaurant food & service always good pork chop, duck, chicken chop all excellent as are the other dishes good cappucino eat here often as do many of the diners
Great food with a great menu, which includes a selection of 11 lunch choices for $11.00, including beverage.
We went before another event, and Henry's was not busy. The service that we got from our waitress was exceptional - knowledgeable and very congenial. Everyone enjoyed their meals-a turkey burger (with a great roll), turkey meatloaf, salmon and chicken francais. Two of our group had the pea soup which they claimed was the best that they had ever had. There was not one complaint.
The chickan pot pie special my date had was only average. Certainly not worth the price. My Cobb salad was ok but not up to other restaurant standards and not worth the price. Have never had great luck with Henry's given the price.
Waiter elan was very good. Very attentive food served at correct temperature and served way it was ordered medium well
Fantastic waiter! Out to dinner with my father. Food was delish. Excellent wedge salad, fried calamari, and glazed grilled salmon. $5 brownie with vanilla ice cream was perfect.
Went here for the first time with friends and had an enjoyable time. Started off with the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Very delicious! I and another had the duck special which was very good. A friend had the crab cakes and she loved them. They were huge! Another had the almond encrusted mahi-mahi which he said was good but nothing special. For desert we had the peach cobbler special which was just okay. I had the carrot cake which as very good and someone else had the key lime pie which he liked. Over all it was a great experience and we will be back!
The food was not as good as under the previous owner. Medium rare steak had to go back because it was raw, tough, Needed steak knives which we had to ask for.
Disappointed. When I booked I stated that it was a birthday, along with the name of the person. Nothing done. Server said she wasn't told. Food Cold. Sent back. Steak was inedible and had to be changed out for fish. I have never had this before. Have entertained as many as 20 people before. If I recommended this restaurant, I would tell them "all" sides of critique and let them decide what they want to do. I know I will think twice before I return.
always consistently good whether for lunch or dinner great specials & always good service
The food was like the.old Henry’s the one from 10 years ago.keep it up glad they sold it to these people.
Three of us enjoyed a birthday celebration at Henry’s. We enjoyed a very nice sunset dinner, including salad or soup, entree and beverage. We chose sirloin tips, crab cake and chicken breast. All meals were served hot, and the steak tips and chicken were both very generous portions. The crab cake, by contrast, was a small to reasonable size. Although all meals were tasty, all three of us thought the meals were very salty.
Henry’s sunset dinners offer a great value, the meal was inexpensive, especially given the nice setting and good service.
The restaurant had lots of gluten free choices, was well-lit and had nice space between tables promoting private conversation. The food choices were exceptional and service impeccable. The spaghetti squash and mussels marinara was exceptional as was all of the good-sized portions.
Had dinner in bar area. Both the bartender and waiter were great. Very friendly, patient and professional. Made a great martini.
Lovely experience Very comfortable & homey
Got together with a couple snow birds that were back in town. Henry’s has not lost its charm or quality with new ownership.
Special birthday for our girlfriend. Requested a round table
which we got. Our server was wonderful and helpful.
Food was great as always! Everything came out hot and delicious!
New items on menu but it was Sat so I always have duck pork chop & stir fry were both excellent good American comfort food
Very pleasant experience. The food was very good, our waitress was excellent. The only complaint: It was very, very noisy.
I have been going to Henry's for 10+ years. Always greeted with a smile, from the hostesses,
managers, bar tenders, servers.
The service is superb. The menu gets more creative each time I go there (which is about three times a month)
Love the desserts!
I am going to Italy for two weeks, and will miss HENRY'S!!!
Visit of out of town friend and friend get together .
Usually always a good dinner. Don't understand why this time was a disappointment.
I'll give it another chance as this was the first time I was not happy.
Normally everything runs smoothly & you get a good meal. Today, the kitchen was off.
Steak ordered medium rare came out moo rare. Ok after it was sent back. Left the rice out of the stir fry and forgot to put the toasted coconut on the coconut cream pie. Chefs AND expediter need to wake up.
Everything was tasty tho plus they have nice summer specials including $20 bottles of wine
I have been to Henry’s many times before but since it was taken over by a new company I thought it would be better but the food was awful. My fresh turkey tasted awful. My friend had the chicken with Thai noodles and didn’t like it either.
The server was ok but definitely not attentive. The restaurant was empty and she should have been more aware of our table.
The $11 special was not worth even $8!
I go there a lot , and prefer the bar area where it is a less noisy. Overall, very good!
Took my Dad out for Father’s Day. Food was great. Service was quick at first as we arrived early. As restaurant got busier service slowed down a little. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this place to friends and family.
Food was great. Service was great. We will be back again
An awesome dining experience. Our server Kay is phenomenal. Made our day . Thanks.
