Henry's Ratings and Reviews
Service was awful. Waiter disappeared and never came back after he took the order,
Food was unsatisfactory except for the fried chicken. Salads were soggy, pork chops dried out, salmon overdone and dessert surrounded with whipped cream and very little carrot cake
Word of Advice: Do NOIT make a reservation for 8PM. The service was rushed, the food came far too soon. Most unpleasant. HOWEVER: the manager was called, and she was most gracious in terms of accommodating. If you don't speak up, no one will ever hear you. We spoke up and the manager heard us. Well done, Manager.
We were all pleased with our dinners. I did tell the waiter we were celebrating an anniversary and he didn't bring a dessert. he said no one ordered dessert. If we're celebrating and he is told, if would be nice if he just brought something with a candle. Other than that he was a fine server.
My biggest issue is with their booth seating. The booths are so cheap that you share your seat back with the person behind you. I’m your constantly being jerked around every time the person behind you moves. I even changed booths thinking it was just the first one but both were the same. Very annoying.
My friend’s Short Ribs came out cold and another meal of Salmon was also not hot. Then a meal was served with a baked potato but no butter or anything else. It took 15 minutes after asking for some butter to get it.
This is a good restaurant. The food was outstanding. Once the food was hot, the potato was buttered and we were able to eat, we asked for the manger.
We told him about our issues and he listened. He went back into the kitchen to discuss the cold food and to the waitress to discuss the lack of fixing with the baked potato.
Then treated us to some desserts.
Again, the food is outstanding.
I guess they just had an off night. We would go back and try them again.
I've eaten at Henry's many times. The food is very good, the menu is quite varied. The prices are a bit high.
This experience Tuesday night was my least favorite due to the waitress - I know for a fact they can make adjustments to meals - I wanted my stir fry made w/noodles on side - she said it couldn't be done that way (which I know is not true!) then I asked to not have the crunchy noodles included - they were! I asked, since she said the lo mein noodles had to be booked in the stir fry for there to be a small amount of them - they overflowed the plate!
So, even though I like Henry's just fine, the waitress spoiled my experience this time
Our “go-to” reliable local for better dining and superior service. Ask for Donald as your waitperson, and look up Cindy the manager if you need something special.
The food is always well prepared, more than ample, and—very consistant, without outrageous pricing.
We four thought the food tasted very good. However, my friend's branzini portion was a small piece of fish for a large man. His broccoli was almost raw and cold. His wife thoroughly enjoyed her sweet potato mash except it was cold. Her salmon was excellent. My husband and I loved our food: the fillet for him and yellow tail for me.
Henry's is great for whatever you are in the mood for. Fantastic burgers to Friday night special Lamb Chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Finished it off with key lime pie and cappuccino. Melissa always has a great attitude and smile, checking to see if we needed anything else even at Henry's busy dinner hours.
This is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever patronized. The food is always excellent, the service is so professional, and the setting is perfect for an enjoyable evening. Wherever I visit from Arizona, I always make a point of having at least one meal here. Check this out for a special occasion or even just a meal. You'll return.
Saturday night this store features duck and all of us ordered it. The duck was crisp on the outside, tender, moist and had nice flavor and texture. The sauce had a bitter after taste and not all of us liked it. The restaurant was very busy and very loud...so loud that it was hard to hear across a 4 top table. Service left something to be desired with no beverage refills and attempt to build any rapport. We would come back but not our first choice any more.
Great server, Jason. Was very attentive, kept refilling our ice tea without ever having to ask. Good was really good. They had a pork chop special and since I don’t eat red meat, pork is the other white meat and it was delicious along with the mashed potatoes and spinach. They also serve a really good bread, all in all, i want to go back tomorrow
