This was our second time at the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Yes, it is a bit pricey (easily over $100 per person for drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert). But, the service and the food were outstanding. For a special occasion, this is a very good place. Wine prices are very reasonable, and you can bring your own bottle for a $25 corking fee. the appetizer was excellent. I had the scallops, and they were perfectly cooked and nicely presented. I ordered their large 48 oz cowboy steak, and it was as advertised. Delicious, and was so much I had to bring some home. My wife had the lamb chops, and they were exquisite. The cocktails are outstanding. I had a Stoli martini straight up with blue cheese olives, and it was right on point. Kudos to the lady bartender. Wonderful experience, and we'll be going back.

Henry's at the farm never lets us down. We have been there several times and our experience is always a memorable one. The food is as locally sourced as can be with an attentive staff. I highly recommed this restaurant.

We went there during restaurant week. The food was at best average. My wife had the salmon and she could not eat it since it was very fishy. I had the short ribs which were ok but nothing special. All in all this is a nice looking spot but the food is nothing special. For the price one can do much better in this area.

I went when the restaurant first opened for dinner and I’m glad I did because I got a window seat with a beautiful view! The ambiance was great as well as the food. The staff regularly checked on me to ensure my satisfaction and although I went for restaurant week, I can see myself going back again!

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in quite some time. The presentation was very nice, portions were impressive and the flavors and selection was outstanding. Can’t wait for Sunday Brunch.. worth every penny. The ambiance was beautiful and pleasant. Had a wonderful experience and meal.

Lack of an elevator was problematic. Lots of steps. Appetizers were great as were desserts. Entree just ok. Good reasonably priced wines.

From our arrival until departure we met with smiles, low-key, friendly banter and an extensive brunch menu. The two craft cocktails were delicious and numerous others were tempting but we needed to walk out safely. The Bananas Foster French Toast and Fried Chicken and Waffle were delicious. While we chose a fry route and also had parmesan fries and aioli there are other paths available, and multiple salads. I had hopes for our first visit to Henry's but it exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be back.

The first surprise was the sangria we both had. Best ever. It didn't stop there though. The food was fresh and flavorful. We didn't leave a crumb on any of our plates. My only complaint is the food could have been hotter. The wait staff was attentive and our accommodation was met above our expectations. Or new goto place🖒🖒🖒🖒

Lovely place, very pretty. Valet parking when we arrived was a nice touch. Started with Henry’s salad and it was excellent. My date had the soup, which unfortunately was tepid. The short ribs were done to perfection, but incredibly bland and under seasoned. The highlight of the chicken was the caper berries, otherwise again, under seasoned and bland. The presentation was very pretty though. The waiter was very nice, but I had to remind him of my wine pairing and he totally forgot to bring the beer we ordered. The fruit crisp dessert was excellent . Very pricey, especially for this area...

My sister and I went to Henry's during HV Restaurant week. The ambiance was nice, the value of the meal excellent. Our menu selections were better than I anticipated and the portions were just right. Our server Mike was excellent. He was able to explain the meals and even went out of his way to get an answer to a question we had about the ingredients of one of the choices. I will be coming back to Henry's and would recommend this restaurant to others.

This was our 2nd visit to Henry's and both visits have been amazing. The food is incredible, the room is beautiful and a gem for our area. We've only been in the winter and will come back when we can stroll the grounds.

I’m vegetarian, so I wish there were more vegetarian/vegan choices on lunch menu. Too much bacon. It seems dinner has more choices, but I’m usually there for lunch. The restaurant & staff are very inviting & friendly. A beautiful place to walk, too.

Everything was superb. The food was wonderfully prepared, delicious, beautifully served and creative. I mean, who thinks about using a mushroom to make ice cream. As it was explained, the candy cap mushroom tends to be used in desserts as it has a sweet taste. In this case the mushroom imparts maple flavor since it grows by maple trees (I checked this online and that's a food fact).
My only gripe was over some service flaws. After I arrived back home and wanted to check something from the menu, I looked it up online. I was surprised to see they offer a Winter Prix Fixe menu for $29.95. There was NO insert in the menu or anywhere that alerted my party to this dinner option. Nor did our server alert us to this option. Nor did any other server offer this option, since I was able to overhear the servers at the two nearby tables discussing the dinner specials (which does have an insert in the menu). I would have ordered the same thing (since what I saw online didn't grab me) but that should be my informed choice.
Additionally, our regular server told us that we could call upon another server if she was away since she was assigned to double duty at the restaurant and at another site on the premises. Therefore, at dessert time another server shared the dessert items verbally. She told us of the numerous, individual ice cream and sorbet choices as well as a creme brulee and fruit crumble. As our regular server came back we asked her to review the ice creams. She also saw we were not handed the printed dessert menu, which had other choices we were not informed of as well as an opportunity to order a flight of 4 ice cream/sorbet combinations so we could sample a variety (which we ended up ordering).
Another server, I observed, touched food with her bare hands.

This review is for DINNER. (I also reviewed their Sunday brunch, which, frankly, was bad.) Dinner at Henry's was fantastic. The drinks are interesting and strong, the wine menu has a broad range of types and price points, with some great local wineries and some great Napa wineries on there, and all the food we had was fantastic. We tried the smoked trout appetizer - everyone loved it. We ordered for entrees the lamb chops, short ribs, and lobster ravioli and everything was great. The entree portions are gigantic... so even though they're expensive, you seem to be getting a lot for your money. My lobster ravioli could have used a little more flavor or maybe Parmesan offered, but overall we enjoyed our dinner. We also had some dessert - I had to try the sweet black garlic ice cream. It was very interesting and tasty actually. My friends split the berry crumble and enjoyed it. We would eat dinner here again.

This review is specifically for SUNDAY BRUNCH (we also ate dinner at Henry's the same day and it was very good - see separate review). First, the cocktails at brunch were lovely. Second, the truffle/parmesan fries were spectacular. But third - our entrees were really quite bad. I had the chicken and waffles ("best in hudson valley"??) and the chicken was over seasoned, overcooked and greasy, and the breading slid off the second I used a knife and tasted over floured. It was difficult to eat and didn't taste good. The waffles were sort of undercooked and the mix of them and the chicken - blech. The kitchen also forgot the Sriracha glaze completely. My friend tasted the chicken and thought I was being generous in calling it "not very good," she thought it was bad. Another friend had the burger -- which sounded great on the menu -- but it arrived like a blackened slab of meat on a bun. The kitchen forgot to put on the condiments (jalapeño jam), and my friend was very disappointed overall with the flavor and texture of the burger. It seems odd for a farm to table restaurant to have a subpar burger... our other friend had the fish wrap and overall it was the best of the 3 dishes but she didn't love it and didn't finish it. There were a bunch of large parties surrounding us so service was very slow and it took over an hour for our entrees to come out. Even if the large parties made the kitchen slower, it's not an excuse for bad food and bad execution, and expo forgetting sauces etc. I would not recommend this restaurant for BRUNCH.
