Disappointing! Terrible service, aside from the bartender that helped pick up all the missed items!
Great food. Service from server great. Food prep a little longer than expected. Overall nice night out.
Gorgeous location eating al fresco on the balcony over the swan pond. Beautiful salads and starters with yummy local veggies. Reasonably priced entrees and excellent service. Beautiful grounds with rescued llamas and alpacas, beautiful spa and bed and breakfast on the premises. Great choice for a meal after seeing the FDR house.
Food and service were well done but not outstanding for the prices charged. Sauce on frutti de Mari was too heavy for the nicely cooked seafood and many other items were over-salted. If in the area, we would try it again, but wouldn’t drive a distance to come again.
This is our second time at Henry’s and they didn’t disappoint. We arrived while it was still light out and took in the scenery. It’s absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic and our server was great. We had a newborn with us and the staff was really accommodating making our dinner really special.
The Mother’s Day buffet was delicious. The room was so beautiful. I can imagine beautiful weddings there! It was a terrible rainy day, which put a damper on our day, but we want to go back and experience it all. The price was a bit high for the selection, but what was there was very good. We’d go back.
I was disappointed. Over priced. Service was lacking.
I would definitely recommend Henry's at the Farm, I just would not recommend you go on Mother's Day unless you enjoy spending way too much money on food. I know all establishments increase prices on Mom's Day but it was a bit over the top in terms of price. Also, it was in the Barn and it was very crowded, so much so that it was hard to get out of your chair without hitting someone. We won't do Mother's Day there again but we will go the restaurant on a non-holiday b/c the food was very good. And the service was great.
Probably wont return, will NEVER do brunch again! NEVER EVER EVER! THE. First of all the buffett was Sooooo small compared to other brunches I've been to. And I spent $160!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNREAL!!!! PEOPLE GOTO MOHAWK HOUSE FOR THAT MUCH!!! Thier buffet is amazing and huge!!! They will cook your food ifo you and it ridiculously amazing. Henry's I would give zero stars if I could. Oh did I mention we sat down and NO ONE CAME TO US, while all the workers were standing by the bar LOOKING AT US! We had to say something to get service and mind you we spent $160.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should have went to mohawk! Smh
Top rated, excellent
Mediocre food. Very loud and tables were very close together. Uneven service. There are much better restaurants in the area.
Henry’s never disappoints!! From the wonderful cocktails to the creative appetizers and the outstanding entrees, every aspect of the dining experience was wonderful!!!
I have been to Henry's many many times in the past. This was the very first time that service was sub-par. We had to ask for a waiter after being seated for 30 minutes. The food was very good but expensive (we new this after being here before). Asked for a before dinner drink. I also placed a bottle of wine to be with dinner and appetizers. The before dinner drinks came at the same time the appetizers and wine came. Leaving us to feel a bit rushed. The food came very quickly, even before I finished my drink. We ate dinner and ordered desert and coffee. I had to find the waiter after ten minutes to ask for a coffee refill for my guests. Service was just lacking and not very attentive.
A pleasant surprise. Excellent food and service. Elegant setting. Highly recommend!
We had a very nice pre Mother’s Day dinner. Thank you for the amazing service.
The food was impeccable. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting and cozy. And Annemarie, who was our server, made the dinner feel like we were just visiting family. I highly, highly recommend going out of your way for a dinner here.
I will certainly go out of my way to visit again.
I brought some locals here and they couldn’t believe the ambiance
Food was amazing and reasonably priced for the very large portions. Take the time to stroll around the grounds and enjoy the farm.
The food and drink are always on point! The grounds are very beautiful. Perfect for an anniversary dinner or a really nice date.
Food was excellent, service was very good (including valet service) ...
It was my girlfriend and I’s first visit to the Farm and to the Restaurant. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed every bit of it from the appetizers to the desert. We highly recommended and definitely will be coming back
Henry's is NOT handicapped accessible there are 4 flights of stairs to get up to the restaurant.
Even though Henry's is pricey the portions a large and filled the entire plate.
The duck leg was NOT cooked as a confit as the menu stated. It was dry and chewy as if it came off a roasted duck. Other tables around us had order issues with their steaks and plating.
I would not go back because my wife had a difficult time getting up and down the stairs and the tables are too close to each other.
Service was fantastic. Beets salad so delicious and fresh and just the right amount of dressing. After that down hill. Entree took over an hour. The waiter apologized only after we signaled him as to what’s going on, what happened. He said he was embarrassed. Trout had too many nuts. Lobster ravioli was drenched in sauce.
Have been to the restaurant many times.. first time at the barn for the buffet style Easter meal.. Food was great , service was perfect ..the gentleman making the pasta was kind and it was delicous.. drinks were great and were able to meet such kind people like Annmarie and her daughter..My family and I enjoyed our Easter.. Thank You
Reserved a table for Easter two weeks in advance. On the Friday before, I received a call stating that it was not in the restaurant but in the barn and it was buffet. If I had known this I would not have gone there. There was nothing about this on their website. Food was okay. 18% tip added to the check and the only service was for drinks. Not fair.
I loved the room where the brunch was served. I must say for a buffet the wait staff was excellent. Would recommend this to others!!
Easter buffet had wonderful delish dishes. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. Only negative feedback is the tables were tight and it was difficult to find a path back to our table. Also would have been helpful to have plates at each station so you can go to the stations you want without waiting in line just to get a plate, example carving station. Aside from that we had an excellent meal and would definitely go back for other holiday buffet meals.
Excellent brunch on Easter Sunday
From the moment we walked in to the end of the meal, one thing better than the next. Bartender was great (Javier) and the hostess/manager also made a delicious drink for us. Waiter was wonderful and attentive. Plentiful food portions and quality ingredients and taste. Overall the hospitality was amazing and the whole dining experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Food overall GREAT! Server very knowledgeable and helpful with selections. Friendly staff. Food runners and set up folks really missed the mark overall. Management should teach them. They are clueless but sweet. Warm ambiance but a bit loud. My elderly mom had some trouble hearing our conversation. Overall....absolutely would recommend!
My wife and I go out to eat frequently and we enjoy good food. We found this to be one of the best places we've ever visited. My wife had the lobster ravioli which was very fresh and came with a lobster tail that was cooked very well. I had the 16 oz Delmonico steak which was cooked wonderfully had great flavor wait staff was fantastic the ambiance and view of the grounds was very nice just a very enjoyable place
Delicious food, lovely service, it was a great evening!
Went there for brunch this past weekend. Wonderful restaurant! Great ambiance, food and service.
I have been to Henry's 3 different times over the last 6 months. 1st time was a weekday, excellent service, food was good, almost had the entire restaurant to ourselves. 2nd we went for a prefixed menu. Quite pricy for what they offered, and food was okay, not excellent. They also couldn't manage a full house. Service was lacking due to amount of customers, poor waiters couldn't keep up or figure out tables. 3rd was recently on a weekend night. Full house again but was hoping it would be different. Service was immediate, food came out at a timely fashion until entrees. 2/6 entrees weren't prepared until 20 mins after first 4. Then an order for medium well steak cones out completely raw. Poor waiter had to manage this for us. He did well though. By the time last entrees came out everyone was done with their food.
I do like Henry's. Maybe during a weekday and not a holiday for sure. They have some room to grow still.
Frustrating meal, because Henry's should be consistently great. The Barbeque brisket sandwich was bad. Inedible. Nothing good about it. The brisket was sliced, not chopped, the coleslaw was overpowered by its vinegar and the sauce, listed as an aioli, was best left in the kitchen.
The baratta dish was heavenly. The other salads were meh.
The service was slow and indifferent, even though the restaurant was not crowded.
The lunch and brunch menus on Henry's website were not the same as the menus when we arrived. Very disappointing.
Food is great, so fresh... it took a little longer than expected to get our dinner but other than that we had a great experience.
This was a mixed quality dinner. The scallops are amazing. Beef carpaccio delicious, beet salad very tasty. The trout with maple syrup was way too sweet which was surprising considering how good the other dishes were. I expected a little bit of maple flavor (waitress described it as a little sweet) which could have worked. Too much overwhelmed the fish and threw balance of flavours off the mark. Unfortunately, they charged me for this dish on the position that other diners liked it so tough luck. So much for trying new things at a restaurant you like. Very unusual for a restaurant to handle this in this manner. We disputed the charge and they still charged half. Pretty tacky for a trout dinner. So advice is to be careful what you order!
I did recommend it to friends on my drive home.
Food was great the service personal could not do enough, very attentive.
We had a great meal as well as superior service. We can’t wait to come back.
Slow service they placed us by the kitchen door and bathroom and service was very slow we walked into an empty room and a few people came Ina fatter us including the owners wife and they were served first.
