HENRY at Life Hotel serves as NoMad’s quintessential neighborhood bistro. Chef Michael Vignola offers his personal approach to cooking: elevated classics with a global lens and a healthy dose of heat. Dishes are built to share, prepared in a wood-burning oven, and complemented by expertly made cocktails and thoughtfully selected wines. The name is a nod to Henry Luce (founder of TIME and acquirer of LIFE), and industry vet Stephen Hanson is the owner — which makes HENRY his first restaurant since he left his BR Guest Hospitality empire in 2013.
Walk-in diners are encouraged in our dining room or bar area, with a communal table that holds up to 10ppl. Join us for drinks, snacks or our full HENRY menu at our downstairs speakeasy cocktail bar, Gibson + Luce.

Great food and bad service in very noisy room. When the place was fairly empty, you were bombarded with servers. When it was crowded, you couldn’t get anyone to your table to save your life. Hope they fix it.
