Went to enjoy the Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. Although the host acknowledged the reason for our celebration, the waiter said nothing and there was no further acknowledgment thereafter. The brunch is advertised from 7am to 3pm. They ran out of the quiche at 11am. The seasonal coffee cake was a berry coffee cake and was delicious. The Benedict was the runners up choice to the quiche, it was good but not amazing. We were also sat at the bistro tables next to a big group, not the most private or intimate setting. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. I expected better service, especially in this city.

Special occasion with the Mrs. and everything was great. From hostess, bartender, to server the service was brilliant and made the night special. Food was wonderful. Drinks were perfect. Highly recommend.

Best meal we had in Charleston. We returned the very same night for dinner and requested the same server and same table. So comfortable and the food was delicious. It was a nice variance from the typical menu that appeared at every other restaurant in the area.

Do not like the music. People want to talk to each other. The music is distracting and not to everybody's taste. Everything else excellent

I ordered the house salad and the steak. The salad was just ordinary. Too much dressing. the lettuce was limp. no distinguishing tastes or textures there. The steak was cooked medium rare, as requested, but it was dry and kind of tough! The cause that came with it had an objectionable texture, as if it needed more liquid of some kind to make it come together. It was not even very flavorful. But, the unforgivable sin was that the meat was dry. It seemed like the steak may have come up first, out of a table of 4 and it was left under the warming lamp too long? We had the two chocolate desserts (Oreo and Chocolate Pot) which were good, and kind of redeeming for the lackluster meal. It also helped that the wine was half off.

This was my 5th visit to Henrietta's. I have only ever had mediocre experiences with the food. It is often where people from out of town want to go (and take me), so I oblige. I would not go there and spend my own money on an average meal. There are so many other choices, for less money. I really like the William Halsey art in the lobby though. Gotta give you that.

Birthday- waiter seemed to forget about us. We sat for a while waiting for bottle of wine we ordered to arrive . Also, Waiter argued with me over last time I had the lobster omelet for dinner. Not necessary to argue. I last had if for dinner May 2018. He insisted it’s been over two years since it was last served. Hmm... food was good & despite the loudness & abrupt server, we had a nice time.

Food was quite tasty and our waiter was exceptionally nice, although busy. I would definitely recommend Henrietta's, although for a special meal, because it is expensive. I really appreciated that we could make reservations for breakfast!

A great new high end French Restaurant in Charleston. Valentine's Day (nigh actually)turned out much better than giving flowers and candy !!! Tenderloin was better than Hall's Chop House! Service was superb -- AJ is a great waiter. Pricey, but great experience.

Service was fine but it took over half an hour to get our meal in a restaurant that was only half full. My steak was on the cool side of warm and tough. My wife’s catch of the day was a sorry piece of flounder with a soggy fried batter. Ambiance was fine but a poor meal just ruins the evening. We are locals that eat out often but probably won’t be returning to Henrietta’s.

Went for Charleston Restaurant week. Three courses for $38. The entree portion of flounder was very small.
Service was outstanding. Food was a little salty, but the staff addressed the issue immediately and replaced the fries. The restaurant was more of a cafe environment . Very casual atmosphere .

The food was great and server and staff were friendly. Service was slow which may have been due to restaurant week combined with an event at the Gaillard. Chairs aren’t the most comfortable. Overall we enjoyed it and would go back.

We have been to The Dewberry several times- we especially enjoy the bar and bar food.
We had brunch at Henrietta's last year and had no desire to return. Only went this week because of their posted restaurant week menu.
It was outstanding. Every thing was delicious, service was lovely and we were all very impressed.
Happy to recommend the restaurant.

Arrived very excited for our Restaurant Week lunch at Henrietta's. Seated instantly, very few patrons. The waiter came over and handed us the standard menu. We explained that we had made our reservation specifically for Restaurant Week and would like to order from that menu. The waiter left and another staff member came over and explained that the signature dish, the sauteed flounder was not available. They had run out of the signature dish at brunch, but the other options were available, a vegetarian option and a salad. He had explained this to several people who had come for Restaurant Week, we were not the first to hear this sorry tale on the first Saturday of "Restaurant Week".

Very disappointed. Made the reservation a week before. Restaurant week is to help introduce people to
to restaurants and their menus. Henrietta's, very poor introduction. Won't be eating there.
