Delicious food; great service. Loved it. Will go back.
Love this place. Always a great meal with great service!
Fantastic from start to finish. Have always enjoyed dinner and will be back for brunch
We flew to Nashville for the weekend specifically to eat and drink. This place was essentially a destination for us. It was on the very top of our list. Food and service were truly outstanding. I would have liked to order more food and drink. I truly would have. Unfortunately, a guest at the table that sat down next to us had so much perfume on that I couldn’t taste our last 2 courses and decided not to purchase a bottle of wine because it would have been a waste of money due to the overpowering stench that encapsulated the entire section of the dining room we were sitting in. During the last agonizing half of our meal I overheard that they were from Connecticut, which comes as no surprise at all, as people from Connecticut are exactly the type to drench themselves in cologne/perfume before going out to a much anticipated dinner. Before leaving, wisely I might add, i took my wife’s advice and I declined to tell them to all go back to Connecticut. I want it to be noted that the staff, on multiple levels handles this more graciously that I could have expected. Really hats off to the level of training and likely overall philosophy of your restaurant. This was absolutely out of anyone’s control and your staff apologized as if it was their fault. If we were in any way out of line, I sincerely apologize, as I read due true disappointment in the moment of one of the meals I’d looked forward to for some time. I was hoping to make this one our big spends, and as it were we left spending less than $100 between the bar and our table. Should we return to Nashville I’d love to give it another whack. Thanks.
The food was outstanding!
Great food and service. One of the best restaurants in Nashville!
Potato Gnocchi. Outstanding! Service was wonderful.
Always the best and one of our very fave spots in Germantown!!
Great food. Great service. Too loud for our tastes, but fun atmosphere nevertheless.
Innovative seafood oriented menu, all sharable small plates. Note that dishes are reasonably generous portions. We don't do oysters but they have a very nice fresh bar. We ordered the kale salad (delicious), bread with anchovy butter (excellent), the grouper in clam chowder (really nice grilled fish on top of the soup as a sauce; very innovative and flavorful); and the oyster mushrooms (this dish had great flavor but be forewarned some of the mushroom was a bit tough and chewy). The wine list was eclectic and offbeat - we had several nice choices. Felt like we only scratched the surface of the menu so will be back for more. But, if you have a big appetite and drink a lot this place is going to be expensive.
Good food, but proud of it as well. Service was not at all bad, but kitchen got very backed up and there was a 30 min delay between various plates.
My husband and I came here for dinner on New Years Eve and the menu did not disappoint. We've been here a few times after moving to the neighborhood and we love it.
Amazing NYE meal. Literally cannot pick a favorite course they were all so mouth watering. A place with food this good you expect to be pretentious, yet the staff could not have been kinder and more welcoming. For that I give them major kudos! One of the most memorable meals I've had since moving to Nashville three years ago!
Server was superb. Food was amazing.
The food was very good and the menu was interesting. Fun Cocktails. We had a large party (8) and they had big tables to accommodate us comfortably. It is a noisy warehouse environment. They did not serve all of our mains together and the last one to come out (by almost 10 minutes) was the only one that was precooked - the Quiche - we were told several times by the server that it would be "out in a minute as it was being warmed" - and it was served burnt on exterior. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Truly a special and delectable experience! A standout restaurant amongst a sea of options in Nashville. Fresh ingredients, love the use of citrus, and great selection of seafood. Will definitely become a favorite for my family.
Absolutely fabulous brunch. Baked eggs and crab cake were perfection. Loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. Can’t wait to try dinner!
Great brunch spot! Wonderful food!
We especially adored the oyster selection - the best in town in my opinion! Everything was exquisite, but the standout dishes to us were the anchovy butter, cabbage salad, and grouper.
We learned of Henrietta Red reading Food and Wine magazine and it was the one place we made a reservation for ahead of time. We were celebrating our our 20-year anniversary, and The staff at Henrietta Red made it special. Everyone was friendly and there was a spirit of teamwork. The service was truly exceptional, the food was unique and delicious. We had the homemade bread with anchovy butter, which is a must! We also enjoyed a beet salad and a few seafood plates. We didn’t save room for dessert, unfortunately. Drinks were also fabulous and we started with some raw oysters. My husband and I would highly recommend this establishment!
Excellent menu, creative but not over wrought, excellently executed with terrific, timely service. Very clean and simple but tastefully decorated interior
The menu is good and reasonably varied, though is generally the same formula you find in all Nashville restaurants in this price range. Food is good but not exceptional, but maybe it was an off night. Wood-fired bread was undercooked and very unimpressive, so much so that they'd do better by serving sourdough bread from an excellent bakery if such a thing exists in Nashville, or hiring a baker who knows how to do good bread. The other dishes we ordered were extremely salty, to the point of being almost inedible. Though the dishes are explained as being 'shared dishes' and the waitstaff advises you to order 2-3 dishes per person, you actually get a lot of food per dish and could over order if you order 2-3 dishes per person. For this reason I thinkon a good night it is very good value for money. We didnt order from the raw bar, though, and that might be the real strength of this restaurant?
The beets and the mackerel toast were delicious and the butterscotch pot de crepe was extraordinary. The scallops and the gnocchi were just ok—-kind of bland. A lovely place, tho. Great service
Great Oysters along with a nice eclectic brunch selection
What a great place! We decided to have brunch here because it was highly recommended and we are so glad we went. Tasty food, great service. Check it out!
Delicious! Will go back to try everything else on the menu! Not one complaint. Plates were shareable and good sized.
Henrietta Reds is officially our favorite date place. Great food and exceptional team to make all special. Keyeland, Gordon, and James are wonderful at what they do.
Great food and a really nice atmosphere. Very convenient parking.
Server wasn’t super helpful, especially since it was our first time there, but all that disappeared when the food came out.
Service was very attentive but rushed. We got our food long before cocktails, and the white wine was poured before cocktails finished. Chicken liver, snapper crudo, beet salad were outstanding. Napa salad, herring two of the cocktails completely inedible. Desserts not worthwhile.
Loved it all! Great oysters!
Amazing food, excellent service! We will be back!!
OUTSTANDING. Food, service, vibes. Everything. Mussels Escabeche & the homemade bread with Anchovy butter should both be at the top of your list to try. Their Jell-O shots (happy hour on Wednesday) are boozy, delicious & exactly what you’re hoping for. Would 100% return!
This was the most delicious meal!! From cocktails to dessert and everything in between was nothing but phenomenal!! We sat at the counter just for fun and loved the atmosphere. Kate our waitress was awesome!! She taught us about the oyster thing, made suggestions for cocktails and dessert that were out of this world!! Great find...we will be back!!
One of the best dining experience we have ever had! A memorable meal for sure.
We really enjoyed our dining experience after finally planning early enough to score a Saturday night reservation. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. Each small plate was interesting and well paced. The food was fresh and appealing. We felt relaxed and not overcrowded with too many tables squeezed together.
It’s one of those restaurants like Etc that you look at the menu and you can’t find a thing you like. Each dish has a thousand ingredients and it all sounds like too much work and taste weird.
My husband had fish with undercooked raw potatoes, squash gratin that came with a lot of bread. I had lamb that looked like pulled pork and over salted. Looking around people come for the oysters. Why not offer the roasted oysters with topping of your choice. I don’t want curry oysters or garlic. It’s too much. $5 for bread! If we had better waitress she would have told us that the gratin came with 1/: loaf. Our second time and we won’t return. Eat in the bar. Looks more interesting.
Love this place!
