Warm and welcoming hospitality, only bested by the food!- so good !
The best brunch in town! Get the pancakes and monkey bread... just amazing!
Love the fresh food and oysters
Small menu and small plates to share for high prices. However, flavors are amazing. Service is just not native Nashville hospitality in the experience with my server. I would go back just for the bar and happy hour.
Love it. Great place.
The grouper was excellent...probably the best seafood dish that I ever had.
We celebrated my husband's birthday with brunch. We had our two year old and they were kind and hospitable. The food was some of the best we've had in Nashville. Loved it!
Great food, great oysters and great service. Delicious brunch. One of my favorite spots!
One of the best restaurants we have ever been too. The food was outstanding. There were 4 of us and we had 12 oysters and 3 smaller plates and 3 entree plates. Plenty for all of us as they design their menu to be shared. Incredible selection of oysters. Our faves were the snapper, crab salad, grouper and trout toast. Nice cocktails as well. A true gem. Will go again if In Nashville.
Enjoyed the front bar more than the dining room. Even though we knew the style was smaller plates to share, the portions were a bit smaller than anticipated. Dining room noise level was quite high and conversation was challenged.
Great service and food for an anniversary dinner
Overall it was a great experience. Tasty food, helpful and friendly server and interesting beverage program. Hip but not over the top hence making our group of 60 year olds feel comfortable. The prices are not crazy high, but for "shareable" plates the prices were in the fine dining range. My only 4 star rating is for the policy of the "plates coming out when they're ready" program. It's uncomfortable for a 6 top when some have food and others don't. A little bit of effort to course out the meal could make it work without stressing the kitchen too much.....I've been there and I know it can be done with a little bit of effort by both the waitstaff and the expo person. But yes, I'd rather get hot food hot and cold food cold. Thanks also for the crazy broad selection of oysters!
The food was absolutely delicious. The broccoli toast is divine!
The baked apple was the best dessert I’ve had in awhile! A complimentary toast for our anniversary was a thoughtful touch.
Pricey and small portions. Soft shell crab just ok. After dinner, family stopped at fast food restaurant to food before night was over. just not the same experience I remember.
Awesome place in German Town. Great Oysters. Enjoyed service. Highly recommend.
YUMMMMMY! We made reservations but since it was just the two of us and the bar was not crowded, we sat there. Loved everything we ate and kept thinking of more that we would want to have. My husband is an oyster lover and talked to the people shucking the oysters to find out their best picks! Apparently they were on spot and he really enjoyed the different varieties.
Everything on the menu was fabulous and the cocktails... they have the same high quality level as the food!
Delicious food & wine with beautiful presentation.
Very enjoyable evening. We sat at the Raw Bar and the sous-chef was excited to share his knowledge of the menu with us. The food was imaginative and flavorful. It didn’t disappoint.
The food and service was excellent but the restaurant manager, Allie, went out her her way to recify a situation in a very professional and friendly manner.
Outstanding. One of the best meals we’ve had anywhere in quite some time
Absolutely delicious brunch. Would definitely go back and recommend to travelers to Nashville.
Henrietta Red is hands-down our favorite restaurant in Nashville - whether it is dinner or brunch we've never been disappointed!
We went to Henrietta Red for brunch.
The vibe is awesome. So big and bright and spacious.
Great bloody mary!
The Oysters were really good!
The biscuits were amazing.
There wasn't a bad bite.
Very reasonably priced.
The noise level is the only inconvenience I experienced; leaning forward to talk at times. Tables were close.
We had a cocktail at the bar since we were early, drinks were great, service was quick. We were seated in a timely manor. Our waitress was very good and knowledgeable about the menu. All three of us had a fantastic meal. We were there for my step-dads birthday and they brought out the desert with a candle which was special. Overall a wonderful experience.
This place is so close to bring great. The small plates were outstanding but there were a lot of misses. The service was beyond disappointing. The server could not recommend a single dish and was absent most of the meal. The wine menu is not accommodating and offers only a few wines by the glass which our server also couldn’t talk to. Get the broccoli toast and the caviar small plate. So good!
We enjoyed our experience at Henrietta Red, although, we had hoped they had valet parking. The service was great, ambiance was nice but comfortable, and the food was good. We started off with oysters and drinks. I love that they had happy hour on a Saturday. We then enjoyed the bread (loved the spread), snapper (crispy and paired with vegetables), scallops (paired with melon and cantaloupe), and the lamb pasta (loved the fresh cream that it was paired with). Henrietta Red definitely adds to the great food scene we have here in Nashville.
Everything was perfect. The new menu was executed perfectly and the food fantastic. Our out of town guests gave up their reservation at the Catbird Seat to join us for Julia and team’s amazingly delicious food. Service was terrific.
The past few times we have eaten at Henrietta Red the timing has been off of the meal service. Two people in our party received their meal ten minutes after everyone else and it took a long time to get our cocktails. Other people in our party sent their food back due to being under cooked.
A special evening for a big birthday. The food was inventive and beautifully presented. The flavors in the beet salad were amazing. The red snapper crudo was outstanding. All in all a memorable meal.
Food was fresh and well prepared but a bit pricey for the portions. The only real complaint was we were asked to order all shareable dishes up front and they would come out sporadically but they came all at once other than the seafood so we asked to slow it down so we could enjoy the meal more and they did! Loved the ambience and service was excellent!
Anchovy butter was the best!!
Food was superb. As was the service. I have celiac and require a gluten-free diet, and they were able to accommodate my restrictions easily.
Went for happy hour...$5 rose and Cava, $2 oysters! Best kept secret in Nashville! Also loved the veggie fritters. Amazing service and great atmosphere!
We loved it! Wasn’t clear that concept is small shared plates but we were pleasantly surprised because it allowed us to try most of the menu! Every dish was fabulous & it was clear the chefs take great pride in choosing ingredients & their pairings. The heirloom tomato salad with watermelon & goat feta bursted with freshness. The grouper & snapper dishes were cooked perfectly where the fish could stand alone but was complemented by its accompaniments, like fresh peaches! Pace of service was outstanding we were never rushed. Our server Bianca was great & her wine recommendations were on target. Hope to come back!
Brunch at Henrietta Red was outstanding! I would highly recommend Henrietta Red to anyone who is visiting or lives in the Nashville area! Food was AMAZING, service was extremely attentive, and the decor was beautiful! Loved it!!!!
Usually have a five star experience at Henrietta but the service was ridiculously poor this time around. Unfortunately this was while we were with out of town era who I’ve been raving to about HR. Our waitress had to come verify our order FOUR times and she still managed to get it wrong. We were missing a crab cake order and when the food came out we bought it to her attention. She returned to say they ran out of crab cakes. Twenty min later the table next to us got two orders of crab cakes. The manager came over and apologized and comped a few items but we’d be happy to pay full price to receive what we ordered and went over so many times. It took 20 minutes to just receive our cocktails. I loved my other dinner experiences at Henrietta I will be back for that but brunch, never again. Menu and food doesn’t compare unfortunately.
