Had the pre-theatre menu last night and really enjoyed it. Lovely looking restaurant and service was very good. Pre-theatre menu is good value although we were a bit surprised to be charged charged £3.00 for extra bread. We only took one slice as the portion with the menu was three (for two people) and placed the rest on the table next to us. Surely including an extra slice wouldn't break the bank!
Wine list is a bit limited. They only serve 125ml measure or a bottle so it starts to make it expensive for a couple of drinks. Having said that we'd definitely recommend Henrietta Bistro, and do what we did, and head to a pub/bar afterwards for more drinks.
Shame it wasn't busier as it deserves to be, but that might be coronavirus and less visitors/tourists around as the restaurant is in a hotel.
Nice Medditerranean option in Covent Garden. The menu is meant to be small plates/sharing.
Made a short notice booking for 10 for a birthday and had a great time. Service was excellent and the food was refined.
Got a couple of sharing plates. And also ordered a mani course which can while we were eating because ‘the chef had to go at 2.30’
Great spot for a laid back Sunday lunch. Delicious sharing dishes with a good range of flavours and ingredients. Coffee was spot on also as was the service.
Fantastic food and great service 😃
Easy to book and great location.
Would definitely recommend and will return
It was my husband’s birthday. The whole experience was excellent and we’ll definitely book again.
Great experience unique environment very warm and welcoming great sharing food which everyone should experience. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Great pre-theatre menu, food plentiful and really tasty.
Way too loud but tasty food! I felt that the level of service was a little poor.
Food and service were good, though I did have to wait for 15 minutes to order wines. We were placed upstairs but would have preferred downstairs as especially one of our guests required assistance with a walking stick. Also, I have been before and downstairs is more lively.
Small plates but good environment
What a find! I stumbled across this restaurant by chance and thought I’d give it a try. I was not disappointed, this restaurant has a lovely cosy atmosphere, great staff and a small but interesting Mediterranean menu. I loved it and plan to go again
Stylish and cosy restaurant with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Excellent staff. High quality food with very fresh ingredients and not over-sauced or over salted. Clean, fresh. Highly recommend.
Great place with a chilled out vibe. The menu is small but well designed.
What a fun place and really interesting and tasty food. Hadn’t expected the ‘tapas style’ format but it worked really well and two of us shared 7 dishes that gave a range of flavours and plenty to fill us. Dish of the day was the bbq cod with spicy yoghurt. Well looked after by our server - Mia. Lively atmosphere at lunchtime. Will go back.
Delicious food and very helpful sommelier given that the wine list jumps steeply quite quickly. A lovely atmosphere- quite a find in what can be tricky, tourist trap area. We'll definitely return.
Small tapas plates that arrive as they’re ready. All very tasty and served with smile.
Great food and service, we had a beautiful table next to the kitchen.
Excellent service, wonderful ambience and fabulous cocktails. The portions were a little small (need 3 per person) but tasty, and we ended up very happy due to the ambience and service. Will go back!
Love the passion!
Lovely resturant! Delicious food, pleasant and helpful staff, nice ambiance. Definitely recommend! Except for the people who prefer having a big single meal rather than sharing multiple small ones as this restaurant has a sharing plates concept.
Took my goddaughter for a 21st dinner and loved the bar where we each had a negroni. The food was delicious even if the staff forgot 2 items we had ordered. I asked for a bottle of the house wine and when the bill came, the food was averagely priced but was I amazed to find that the house wine was charged at £30 a bottle, being the cheapest on the menu. This was for an IGT Terra Siciliane Grillo which retails in M&S for £7 a bottle. What a mark up - no house wine should be that price! Slightly spoilt an overall good evening.
I had booked Sunday brunch for 11am when we arrived we were-told that the continental had finished even though it was still laid out
The place was cold and grubby looking lots of stains on chairs
The breakfast was poor quality all poached eggs were semi solid and the staff all sat down to eat together making lots off noise and swearing ! Nobody came to ask if we needed anything had to get up and go over to ask for salt and pepper ! Truly the worst experience I have had we would have been better of at McDonald’s!!!
Love this place great for a meet up after work or a special dinner.
Nice food didn’t all come out at once which they warn you however sea bass is a bit odd without a side dish to have with it.
Food was a great quality however and lovely wine!
Too spicy for our personal(Italian) taste. Burrata is perfect on its own, we cannot accept all that condiments on...the location is very nice but i imagined to eat better, so i would not recommend this restaurant to any of my Italian friends...
Lunch on a quiet January day. A scattering of people (hotel guests?) on laptops but for the first hour it was just the 2 of us eating. Nevertheless they placed us in a tiny table while loads of larger, more comfortable, tables were available. As on a previous visit it was like getting blood out of a stone to get sight of the lunch menu which is the same food as the evening menu but much cheaper. Why have a lunch menu if you are not going to offer it automatically?
The food, however is excellent, with a special commendation for the day's special of seabass with jerusalem artichoke puree - a delight.
Excellent wine list but, as seems universal these days, overpriced.
Food is amazing. Service was great. Highly recommended.
Delicious tapas style food. Dishes that stood out were long beans with foie gras, barbecue cod and lamp chops. The ambience was romantic and cosy - would definitely visit again!
Great Food and Super atmosphere. Always a pleasure to go there and enjoy the excellent food
I have been in this place for New Year’s Eve . It was Amazing as usual.. I recommend this place for a casual night with friends or for a date.. the food is good and the atmosphere warm!
We went on New Year's Eve and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was absolutely superb! Will definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.
Delicious food and friendly service. Felt a bit squashed as it’s a long narrow restaurant. Bill was £200 for 2 adults and a child
I thought it was a course menu but turns out to be tapas style. Too pricey for what it is. Food was all very salty to the extent that some dishes were inedible.
The dining area and the bar was in the same area. There was a drunken loud group next to our table and ruined the evening. I won’t be going back again.
Truly excellent food and a really lovely ambience. While it is not an inexpensive restaurant it is worth the price tag and quite decently priced for a more upscale dining experience in central London. I will recommend this restaurant and will be back the next time I’m in London. We had a very memorable experience.
Delicious and inventive food in a lovely bright setting
