Great food, great experience!
Not a bad place at all. We had a fine experience. The food was okay. They definitely have a unique style. I had the quail and it was delicious. The drinks were fun. Atmosphere was great too. Unfortunately our server seemed very busy, my boyfriend had one drink, was never offered another one. And we had to chase him down to get the check. I’d give this a 6 out of 10.
Henley has been at the top of my list for out of town visitors since it’s opening, but this most recent visit lacked the typical care and nuance that I had grown accustomed to. The server seemed disinterested in taking care of us from the very beginning and completely checked out after taking our orders. My guest had modified her entree due to an allergy and thankfully double checked when it was brought out as the server had failed to note it with the kitchen. We all awkwardly ate our meals while she waited for a new steak. The server brought out our check while we were still eating, never asking us if we wanted dessert or another round of drinks. Apparently the “kitchen had closed” so dessert was limited, but this was never communicated to us. When we left our server was at the bar with a friend. She very clearly didn’t feel like working. Food was solid as usual, but service was disappointing to say the least. Also, the parking situation is horrible. Bring back valet. We got stuck in the garage and had to call security to let us out. Strange night all around.
We were delayed getting into Nashville but Henleys let us move back reservation & we’re incredibly kind & attentive. Food and drinks were amazing. Perfect spot to get acquainted with Nashville.
Enjoyed excellent service and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend Henley!
Espresso martini and avocado toast is a must try
Not from the area and randomly chose a restaurant which didn’t disappoint! Food was amazing, service was great! And overall experience was good! Would recommend!
Good and service was wonderful!
Nice craft cocktails. Food is prepared well and delicious. Banana pudding is excellent!!
We had a wonderful brunch at Henley - from the service to the food options to the ambiance, 10/10!
Interesting food in a very chic setting. The catfish toast was a hit!
Very good food and service-I would go again
The food was so good! The chef is amazing. Beautifully prepared delightfully done and presented. Am extremely enjoyable meal. We dined outside and it was quiet and lovely. The chicken liver foi Gras and the Scallops and grits were just exquisite. Have the chocolate soufflé with Frothy Monkey coffee. One of the best meals I’ve had in awhile and we are from Atlanta.
Food was great except the brisket pasta dish. I was not a fan of the sauce. The fried bree and mussels were fantastic.
food was underwhelming and expensive
Had wine and appetizers on the patio. Staff was very friendly. We got our 8:30pm reservation moved up to 6:30 by moving to the patio on a small table. We appreciated the flexibility of the the restaurant. Service was very polite and professional but a bit spotty since, we think, we got moved to the patio and were unexpected there...and staff had to improvise.
Great food, beautiful place…however, we felt very rushed to order from the minute we sat down.
Absolutely amazing! The scallops and grits were to die for!
Great food! Authentic drinks!
Ended up arriving early and had drink outside. Such a nice evening we stayed outside for the meal. Staff was accommodating and attentive. Food was very good.
Small menu. Didn't feel the quality qualed the price.
Food was excellent with service that matched. We will definitely come back next time in town.
I didn’t realize the restaurant was ~1.3 miles from downtown Nashville when I made reservations. We decided to make the half hour walk from our hotel and I’m glad we did. We ordered bread and salad to start and had braised brisket and crispy pork belly. Everything was amazing! I would definitely go again.
We really enjoyed our meal, portion size was great - no portion distortion. Service was attentive but not in your face. Will definitely recommend to others.
AMAZING experience. I met a dear friend there for dinner and we shared a bunch of plates (becuase we wanted to eat the whole menu lol!) Cocktails were perfection, food was fab, decor was gorg!
To our surprise this is a hotel restaurant. To be fair, if i was staying in this hotel and want to grab dinner before heading to bed for the evening this would be a nice option.
However, this place isn’t designed to accommodate local guest. No valet parking on week days. None. At a hotel and no valet parking. The parking option is the hotel & building parking garage “just around the corner”. This place is also a residential building. Finding a place wasn’t too bad. What was unfortunate was trying to get to the hotel and restaurant. Want to get on elevator? Must be authorized to use elevator because its residential. If not for some understanding residents we would still be looking for a way to get in.
Just tying to get to this restaurant was a very unnecessary hassle. Even departing & getting back to the car was almost as bad. And there is a parking fee of $6.00 for the privilege of dining at this restaurant (we asked & they couldn’t stamp parking ticket).
Food was nice but they will not see me again.
Very nice place. Great cocktail choices. We ordered a number of small plates and all were delicious! Our server was great as well.
Awesome place, food was very good and we enjoyed our experience!
Great food, great drinks, amazing service & recommendations. Topped off with the best dessert.
There are much better options in Nashville for Brunch! If you are staying at this hotel, it might be worth it, but not a destination.
We tried something new. Several things why we will not come back. Sitting arrangement was not comfortable- right next to bar and waiters picking up drinks- it was a non-stop traffic behind my back. Waiter ( older gentleman ) was not looking friendly , we felt rushed, and he was obviously annoyed by our additional requests ( like salt etc.). Meals were coming in in a random order. By the time we got our waters and first appetizer, we were already hungry and started talking about leaving. Meals were ok. We paid and left with no restaurant curtsies ( like a simple good bye, some customer appreciation ?). We personally will not come back, as service is probably the most important for us in a restaurant valuation. Place might be good for those seeking a cool bar atmosphere
The cocktails were a little too sweet and the main dishes were overall good but lacked cohesion. The sides were fantastic as were the desserts. Great decor! Overall a good experience.
Henley is an upscale restaurant in a hotel lobby with trendy touches and modern menu. We had a great date in midtown Nashville as we sat outside on the porch during a pleasant summer evening. All the food tasty and delicious including fried Brie, mussels, scallops, and crispy pork belly.
Out of town guests
Great meal in a wonderful setting. Will be going back very soon!
Beignets were surprisingly savory, the scramble was delicious
Stopped for one night in Nashville on our way to Santa Fe. This restaurant was centrally located in midtown. I had mussels which were absolutely delicious. The Cesar salad was also very good. My husband had scallops which were quite tasty but the portion was pretty small, considering the price. The wine was excellent too.
Dinner was outstanding!!! We will definitely be back with friends. Chefs table next time.
We stayed at the Hotel Aerston and were very excited about dining here. We had dinner here our first night in town, as well as breakfast on our final day. The service was slow but it appeared that they were understaffed so we were understanding of that. The food, however, was just okay. I had the Braised Brisket Reginetti which wasn't bad, but was served cold. My husband had the Grilled Hanger Steak which was just okay. They had no kids menu so my 8 year old had a side of mac and cheese which she didn't like and my son had a burger. The breakfast options were a bit limited and just okay... They were even more short-staffed in the morning.
Brian our server is top notch
