Hen Quarter - Dublin, OH
Dry good service and the dood was excellent and hot and delicious, mimosas was so good..
Excellent service for brunch and very knowledgeable and accommodating staff for my need for gluten-free food and drink. Definitely pricey but well worth it.
Loved the fried chicken with mac and cheese, bread with honey, Cajun oysters and deviled eggs. Yum! The heat wave cocktail was also delicious!!
Food was excellent - corn bread was surprisingly good. The only ding is the conversations at the nearby tables in the front room really carry and was a little noisy.
Great atmosphere, had amazing service. They hosted me and my family and friends for dinner and it was amazing.
Loved the ambience and the music was amazing! Food was to die for. 5 thumbs up!!
Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Wait staff was excellent.
The fried chicken is amazing. It looks great and tastes great. The servers are top class.
Walked in and the environment was warm and inviting. Our server was outstanding...so nice and helpful. The food was wonderful! I had the Fried Chicken and Waffles with a side of Mac and Cheese. So full of flavor and had enough to take home for the next day. Price is a little higher but worth it. Good music playing in the background but not too loud. Could still have a conversation with my husband. Great drink selection and my husband was able to try several of the scotches before he got one. Overall, great experience!
Went for my husbands birthday dinner. We had a great time ... great food ... great staff!
My meal was decent but my husband’s steak wasn’t great and his oysters were awful (way over dressed with the vinaigrette put on them). Our table overlooked construction....he switched seats with me so I wouldn’t have the glaring sun in my face (ended up borrowing my sunglasses to wear....ps every customer facing that direction had sunglasses on inside).
Restaurant needs to get some classy shades on those large windows 1. For sun and 2. For blocked view of crappy construction. Literally right out our window was a random yellow extension cord and tools just left. So not the vibe I was expecting. All looks very unfinished.
And despite requesting a booth on open table we were shoved to a small table. We asked in person for booth but they told us they couldn’t accommodate. There were two other rooms with plenty of seating yet they crammed everyone in room off of bar with sun glaring at all of us. Made zero sense.
The entire night was way over-priced for what we got and highly unlikely we would go back.
We have enjoyed Hen Quarter many times both as a family and socially with friends. Our visit on 8/9/19 was the best yet. Our waitress went above and beyond and was so warm and personable, as well as attentive. She asked each of us our name and then remembered them. Outstanding. I hope we have Joshlynn again. The food was delicious as always and one little hiccup was taken care of immediately and without issue. The drink menu is superb. We will definitely be back. This is definitely becoming one our go to restaurants and Friday night continued to solidify our loyalty to this place.
Excellent in all areas. Mario our waiter, outstanding. Greeted by Hostess Cindy, outstanding. Food was fantastic. The Deviled Eggs-YES!!! Chicken & Waffle entree-YES!!!
Plan to return this week.
Awesome! Loved the entire experience.
Another fantastic meal at Hen Quarter. Service was absolutely incredible and made our anniversary night perfect.
Our group of 5 was a mix of locals and out-of-towners - we were there for a work dinner. The guys really enjoyed what appeared to be a smoky-peach-bourbon cocktail (smelled AMAZING!) and there was a decent selection of local craft beer for the rest of us. We ordered some starters for the table: corn bread, crab corn fritters, deviled eggs, crab queso. The consensus: everyone was underwhelmed (with the exception of the cornbread). The fritters were the biggest disappointment - I expected them to be light and fluffy and crispy (if you've ever had the ones at Harvest, these are the kind I'm talking about...) but they were dense and rather bland. The flavor-saving-grace here was, what I believe were roasted red pepper/honey mustard dipping sauces. Queso was good, but seemed bland/needed more salt (and I don't normally add salt to anything, so...) Deviled eggs were just, ok. Like I said, just underwhelming. For entrees - 3 guests had the chicken and said it was great (looked excellent w/ the waffles & biscuits). The other two of us had the scallops, which were great quality and cooked perfectly (tender yet crispy), but, unlike the starters, far to salty. The service was excellent! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and made recommendations. Very nice atmosphere as well. Maybe just some tweaks - turning it up a notch. Some great ideas, just seemed blah on the execution. But those smoked drinks... smelled like heaven.
Service was outstanding. Cornbread appetizer was fantastic. Striped bass was delicious. Tuesday night wine specials great value Can be a little loud.
I have never had such an amazing steak before. Everything we ordered from the crab hush puppies to the ribs were amazing. So flavorful
Love the Cuban and the little private room in back!
This was my second visit and this time we brought friends. We all agreed the meal was fantastic and we can't say enough about our waiter, John, who was attentive throughout our meal. It was a delightful evening!
Very little value for the $. Not what I would expect for the price. Chicken was dry and sides were cold. On the bright side they had a very good bourbon selection.
We can get the same food just as good at other restaurants for Less
Overall AMAZING !
The fried chicken is the best - great cocktail list and wine list. We really enjoyed the ambience.
Excellent service. Hostess and server were super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was delicious and prices were comparable to other similar establishments, except for the chicken & waffles. It tasted great but not $20 great.
We love going to Henquarter for a nice night out. The food is great, service outstanding, and we really enjoy the atmosphere. It’s just s great restaurant!
A very nice evening out with elevated Southern food and yummy inventive cocktails. We had lobster rolls even though it was not on the dinner menu. One dish had two and a side so it was super filling. The service was energetic and convivial.
The food was tasty. They ran out of some items. Service was a little slow. Overall, I would recommend Hen Quarter. I will return.
Love this spot. Food was on point. Drinks too pricey. Service was excellent as well. Will go back often. My only complaint, was that the music was too loud.
The overall experience was absolutely amazing! And The Collard Greens were like my mother’s home cooking... athe best comfort food in Columbus Ohio hands down!
My bridesmaids and I came for brunch before shopping for bridesmaids dresses. I’ve been for brunch and dinner before, but the service this time was outstanding! I forget our waitress’s name, but she was absolutely amazing. She was so personable, and made our experience that day. She suggested mimosas for all of us that day, and kept them coming. She was on top of filling our drinks, ensuring we had everything we needed, but being there only when we needed her. I will be back for the food, and if I have her as my waitress again!
We went for brunch to celebrate a week of marriage! The staff was absolutely wonderful and made great recommendations and made sure we celebrated to the fullest! This place is a must for brunch- the flavors in each menu item was out of this world.
The food was excellent and obviously carefully prepared. I appreciated it all... except, in a few instances, the pepper was so excessive that it rendered the honey and jambalaya too hot to enjoy.
The service was very warm, kind and efficient: John who worked the bar especially and Josh who joined the team later in our meal.
The cocktails were delicious and presented in an attractive way.
It was a great brunch.
Wasn’t what I expected for brunch. Overpriced for both the quality and quantity.
Chicken and waffles amazing were amazing and could be shared. The traditional breakfast plate was a little too salty for my taste so would definitely try something else if going back for brunch.
Thank you for a great experience!
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Our server, Jared, was super awesome!
Food service took almost an hour from time of order, it was a really long wait.
Service...phenomenal! Food...good, but.... Atmosphere....excellent!
Fun place to go. I enjoy the atmosphere. Brussels sprouts have changed. I liked the previous version with bacon, etc. Collards were good but needed to be cleaned better (crunchy).
Fun wait staff. Cool drinks.
