   My girlfriend & I took my son to Camel back for his birthday. We had breakfast there one day. It was $22 per person plus they add on an 18% gratuity which is absurd. It’s a buffet. The food was so, so. There wasn’t a huge selection. It is not a place I’d return to

   Food was good, meat carver left me standing for 10 minutes waiting while she stood far from the meat itself talking to co workers in the center of buffet. No one was present at the omelette station, the workers were all standing inside buffet chatting.

   Food was typical quality for an Easter buffet, not bad but not delicious. Most of it looked nice though. At $55 per person, the price was the highest in the area, though they did offer prime rib instead of ham. The prime rib was cooked to somewhere between rare and medium rare. My adult daughter often orders medium rare steak, but this was too underdone for her. I prefer medium, but neither of the roasts they put out while we were there, were cooked that way. The desert display proved the old adage that presentation is not more important than good tasting food. I was surprised they did not have a few pies and/or ice creams to offer for desert. They added an 18% gratuity to the bill for two people at a self-serve buffet. Their credit card printout had a line for a second tip. Unless you are at this resort for another reason, I would not travel here just to eat.

   Easter brunch. The food was sub par and mostly cold. Our waitress was amazing. I wouldn't recommend this place for brunch the cost we saw online was 49.99 and the restaurant we paid 55.99

    I thought it was expensive for what is was. Not omelette or waffle station and the food wasn't particularly hot. The fresh fruit selection was amazing though and drinks were included.

    Food was terrible! We were a party of 8, only 1 person enjoyed their food and that was our 8 year old who only ate a plate of fruit. Seriously none of the food was edible. I spent $195 on breakfast food that nobody could eat. This included an 18% gratuity for a boy who took 20 minutes to come see what we wanted to drink (they were NOT busy when we were there). Never saw him again till I tried waiving him down for our check. Complete disappointment and the most expensive meal for the whole trip, again that none of us cook eat but the fruit eater. Please don't waste your money and go somewhere your family can enjoy the food they're paying a crap load for.

    Went for a New Year’s Eve pre fix dinner which they charged 85 dollars a plate and the food was ok. It was a buffet so the waiters did minimal work but yet immediately added a 18% gratuity which was overly generous considering we got 1 round of drinks. I would definitely steer clear of this in the future even though we love camelback lodge. The only benefit was convenience . Also the food choices were heavy on fish which were good but not a lot for the standard eater. Prime rib was weak at best.

    New Years Eve dinner. Most all of the food was barely warm. Especially the pastas. Chocolate covered strawberries were on point! Good selection of dessert! Just wish the food was hot.

    $250 for a group of four. This was a buffet that constantly ran out of food. Bread - ran out, steak - ran out, fruit - ran out, apple pie - ran out. Chicken that didn’t run out was too hard to chew. Terrible experience. Go somewhere else there are plenty places around.

    They had us in a corner facing resort common traffic area, small selection of wines, understaffed and foods were often unavailable and staff didn’t know when more was coming in, my beer came when I was ready to have desert and wasn’t cold at all. Very disappointed

    Attended 2022 Thanksgiving Buffet for $60 per adult + drinks and 18% mandatory gratuity. Quality and selection of food items have drastically dropped over the years for this annual buffet. Turkey appeared to be processed breast meat and was not fresh cut off the bone. Stuffing was just croutons. There was no roast beef or ham carving station as in previous years. There were soup bowls but no soup to be found. Desserts appeared to be highly processed, discount grocery store bought variety that were not fresh. Table service was attentive and adequate but mandatory 18% gratuity doesn’t seem fair for a buffet. Food and beverage manager did comp 50% of meal due to our complaints regarding the food quality so at least they are responsive to reasonable customers.

    Ever get screwed over while knowing fully that you are getting screwed over? The Hemispheres restaurant at Camelback came up with this little marketing gem. --- Mother's Day Brunch Buffet -- Reservations required .. log in and reserve your table at OpenTable and now you're guaranteed a table, which they claimed would be in high demand. The regular buffet price is $24... but today it's $65 and they set the gratuity price. 95% of the tables were empty. Clearly there was no need for a reservation. This restaurant is normally packed for their brunches. All those empty tables told me that those folks have more common sense than myself. The food is good, the service is excellent .. but not worth $65 a plate. I expected some extras to go with those exorbitant prices .. maybe some form of entertainment, a strolling guitar player or something like that. But, no. The only "extra" was a free carnation to every female that entered the restaurant. Other than the flower, this buffet is the same as their pre-covid buffet. I won't say that I won't return under their normal pricing structure, but I will certainly not trust any of their special event buffets again. Caveat emptor (buyer beware). I made the reservation .. and I paid the price. Take this as a warning and be smarter than me.

    Service was horrible. But it does not matter to them when they pre charge gratuity. $107 in gratuity for someone that brought 5 drinks to my table and barely came back. Pre paid gratuity is BS
