Helvadere Garden & Restaurant

What a joke this was booked for daughters 21st and the restaurant was closed! Absolutely shocking client service to do this and i am sure there ae many more people has suffered the same fate. Thankfully we were able to have a meal at The Elm Tree and had an amazing meal and great beer garden with very attentive staff!

Great food!

My booking was for 5pm on Sunday and I called to make them aware I was running 10 mins late. The lady who picked up said I couldn’t come in as the had experienced some issues with the police. She said she didn’t know when the matter would be resolved and maybe I could come after 8:30pm.
I was not happy with this because I was not made aware and no one called to apologise.
I was very excited to attend as looking at the images made the place seem great.

Very friendly and helpful when I went at lunch with my baby to meet a friend. Definitely going to go back for some grown up time and cocktails. Really enjoyed myself!

The out door area was really cute and was nice and warm with lots of outdoor heaters. Staff were lovely, food was very yummy, we had the sharing platter for 2 and there was lots of different options on the platter which was fab! The lychee mojito was a first and it was delicious will definitely be going back!

This really is a little hidden gem! Great food, brilliant service and a lovely ambience. My friend and I went on the 12th April and sat in the outside seating area. It’s warm and cosy! Would definitely recommend.

Although the food and staff were fantastic we felt extremely uncomfortable. Our table was by the door and with diners constantly arriving, it was chilly. Also nobody was wearing face masks when they was walking around and it was packed.
I would definitely re book but when covid has gone away!

I think Helvadre has done a amazing job with creating a restaurant with such nice vibes and staff to make it all a really lovely experience!!

The staff was amazing and the custom shisha 10/10 it’s so difficult finding a good shisha bar and restaurant the drinks where great and OMG The Popcorn Machine I want.

I would highly recommend.

Amazing restaurant we will definitely be back. Would have given all 5 stars but there was a bit of a wait for cocktails (thats me being extremely fussy!)
Staff were friendly and helpful especially the young lady on the night!

Myself and my husband loved my birthday dinner at Helvadere! The customer service was amazing, the waitresses kept checking on us and they were very friendly. The food was lovely and freshly mad and the ambience was great. Such a value for money as the portion sizes are great!

We went on a Sunday evening and it was just great, not too quiet not too loud. The Shisha is amazing, it lasts forever and tastes delicious. Mustafa took care of our shishas and mixed very nice flavors for us! Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back ASAP

Helvadere has recently reopend and the new look restaurant looks amazing. The staff are very friendly, the ambience is lovely and the food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing.
The only thing I would recommend is that they bring back their fried crispy chicken wings and the frozen raspberry shisha

Had a lovely time as always, love the refurbishment and the new shishas. Always a pleasure to be able to bring my siblings/partner here to socialise.

I had to change the reservation time three times during the day due to my dinner plans at another restaurant overrunning, but Helvadere adapted and our table was ready / available for the new time. I’m very grateful!!

Service was very slow due to it being so busy.

Not covid secure at all. Table not clean before we were seated, most staff not wearing masks, no 1m distance between tables, several tables of large groups. Service was slow. Apparently they didn't have enough glasses or plates. Music so loud you couldn't talk. Belly dancer not keeping distance, touching customrs etc. Food was fine. Okay if you're happy to pretend covid isn't happening or don't care about safety measures and don't mind waiting for drinks and food for a while.

Overall enjoyed our visit and would go again. Food was nice & staff were friendly but had to chase part of my order twice and it arrived after I’d eaten over half of my meal...with no apology. Music was a bit loud during the belly dancer sessions. We didn’t know about that and were trying to chat. Also thought dancer was frequently within 2 metres of diners. Restaurant seemed very clean, good location & ok menu though I’d like to see more veggie options.
