Housemade Peanut Butter
Our Peanut Butter —made in very small batches— was put on the map when Lynn Rosetto Kasper swooned over it on her NPR Splendid Table show years ago. Jane and Michael Stern (Roadfood.com) said, "This could very well be the best peanut butter on the planet." And each and every day, our diners rave about this crunchy delight. Shelf life (unopened) = 6+ months
Huevos Rancheros "of the Gods"
A crisp flour tortilla layered with buttery hashbrowns, spicy black beans, soft-scrambled eggs, and a 3-cheese blend baked to a golden brown. Called "Huevos Rancheros of the Gods" by roadfood.com. Topped with hand-chopped salsa and sour cream.
Host staff seemed very overwhelmed and created a line of waiting guests with reservations that took almost 10min to queue through.
The photo booth was a nice touch, But the food was only ok. Fish and chips very bland, don’t think there was any seasoning in the batter... not even salt. Burgers were all well done. Tat-or tots and cheese curds were good and portion sizes were huge Soup was luke warm but good. Summer roll salad with chicken was excellent.
Hell’s Kitchen is the spot in the city that locals and tourists both congregate! Amazing, flavorful food that fits any occasion - whether you’re there for lunch, a fine dinner, or a birthday you’re going to remember your experience forever! Make sure to stop out for brunch some day soon as they have a build your own Bloody Mary bar, build your own mimosa bar, and even live music on weekends! This is the stop you need to make before you can say you know Minneapolis.
They were out of things that my husband ordered and they didn’t tell me about the service charge on the check that they automatically add the Staff were super friendly went above and beyond what I expected however because of the menu Items being out it kind of ruin the experience
This is one of mine and my husband's favorite restaurants, but this time, we were not impressed with the food. His burger was very well done, fries were much too salty and my pork chop was dry (but flavorful.) Our 3 year old said the mac not sure if they're still making this or not?) We will go back and give it another try, we have so many good memories of the delicious food. Maybe the cooks were just having a bad night with recently reopening post COVID closure.
Great food and one of my favorite breakfast places in the Twin Cities
Great food! Fun place to go with friends, to celebrate, or on a date.
Mother’s Day brunch! Amazing!
Our food was not good, it was cold, overpriced, and originally came
out incorrectly. the make your own mimosa was a mess and not at all worth $50, the pastries that came with it were hard and dry. the restaurant felt dingy and uninviting. our waitress was nice enough.
It was so great to be back. The food was as good as ever. We did a lot of take out but nothing beats being back in the restaurant. Best mom's day gift ever.
The food was good and the service was excellent. But thought the food was overpriced for what little you got on your plates. The lemon ricotta pancakes were very good, but two slices of bacon included would have made the meal a better value. The fried walleye and eggs could have used more walleye. I probably will return and recommend, just heads up on value.
Our serve was absolutely amazing. All of the food was delicious and amazing! The photo booth is super fun too!
Service was slow, the lights were turned way up, and the food was mediocre at best.
Waiter was awesome. Food was really good. Adorable place!
We were so happy to be able to visit Hell's Kitchen again! We brought my husband's parents who had not been to Minneapolis since they moved away 50 years ago, and they loved the experience and the food. Hoping life gets back to normal someday soon so we can visit the Bloody Mary bar, but meanwhile the regular old bloodies and mimosas are fantastic. I always get the Mahnomen porridge but wanted to try something new this time; the bison Benedict waffle was delicious. Support this restaurant however you can because it is a treasure and their staff is the best.
very good food, good service food came out quick
Outstanding service and food! It surely did not disappoint.
It was so good to be back! Things are certainly different due to covid but the food was excellent as always and the staff is just as amazing as I remembered. Can’t wait to go again!
One of our favorites and it was so very good to see it back open and doing regular meals with good spacing and safety precautions. Delicious food, fun place to eat.
Well.... let me say first that I have always been a huge fan. So was delighted to get a seat at a pop up dinner. It was very COVID safe and they had a couple of musicians who were good.
I guess I also like sit at the bar, but the dining experience was just not fun. Not the usual fun wait staff and creative menu. First thing I was told was they are out of garlic mash and only have tots and fries... but I was paying way more for pub food that way. Yah they shaved parm on the tots... but still tots. And it was a 7 pm dinner! How did they run out? I guess if you are going to be open for a pop up, Have the staples.
I mean it was okay. But I had looked so forward to it to end up with food that wasn’t that great and a boring waiter who wasn’t wonderful. I just expected different. I was disappointed. I think I’ll wait a while before I try that again. Maybe when you can go in the bar again. Sorry Hells Kitchen. Just being real. Maybe next time.
The service was excellent - always checking on us. The food was delicious - The Ricotta Lemon Hotcakes and Linguine Scampi with Shrimp. Perfection!!! The lighting was dim and romantic - very soothing and peaceful with a slight tune of music in the background. Not to loud not to quiet. It was just right. Definitely would go back. This was our second visit there.
This restaurant is always amazing. The staff are great and the ambiance is like no other. Highly recommend everything on the menu : )
Great dinner. Fun place to eat! The staff was outstanding! Highly recommend
The food is consistently fresh and tasty and served quickly!
Nate was our server and he was great as he filled my coffee and our waters when necessary. The food was amazing. Huevos rancheros were so good!! Can’t wait to go back.
Very happy to have been able to attend a purgatory weekend brunch. We applaud Hell's Kitchen; they are taking precautions and doing things right--even though it has very likely hit their bottom line. We will continue to support them now and always.
One thing I really want to call out-- For this experience, Hell's took the time to call me and explain to me the precautions. They took the time to learn about my party and inquire if we needed any special assistance. One of our group is less mobile and needs a cane so stairs are difficult. Hell's arranged to have the elevator ready for us. This may seem like nothing; but to us it was really going the extra mile.
Our experience at the brunch itself was a ton of fun. The staff / Server was amazing. Fun, knowledgeable and personable. The bloody Mary bar "table side" was great. Absolutely worth every penny. The lemon pancakes continue to amaze me every time I order them. All in all, we had a great time.
Thank you Hell's Kitchen. Keep on keeping on.
It was wonderful to get to return to in-person dining! Very intimate, it was quiet when we were there, which is not at all normal but works for our new norm. The menu is limited but all our favorites were on there. The walleye hash was amazing! Service was impeccable and the atmosphere is still awesome, despite fewer diners.
Hell's Kitchen offered a special opportunity to dine on-premise for a Sunday brunch, with assurances that customers and staff would be protected. I was very impressed by the experience!
We were seated at a comfortable table, at a safe distance from other diners. The restaurant offered a complete menu (on paper, to be discarded after one use) that featured huevos rancheros (my favorite of all time) and a bunch of new items.
Service was prompt and professional, and our food arrived hot and perfectly prepared. If this was a trial experience for the restaurant I'd say that it was successful.
Amazing food with many new items since the pandemic started. Over the top cleanliness with every COVID precaution taken. Lucas was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and overall highlight! We are glad to HK reopening and look forward to returning soon!
Hell's Kitchen is always fantastic, & this was no exception. Very clear protocols to keep their staff and customers safe, and delicious food as always!
It is 6/1. My reservation for 5/29 did not happen. Couple things i would like to share for the history books. Hell’s Kitchen was not open on 5/29 for my party of 7. We were in a freaking pandemic. They are responsible and thoughtful HUMANS who continue to wait for the ALL CLEAR that we all are so pained to hear.
But on top of that, 5/29 was a night of continued violence and mayhem in the wake of yet another black man. George Floyd died at the hands of a poisoned mind and when the good people of minneapolis showed up to protest, a whole different slate of poisoned minds showed up to sow fear and destruction.
If we weren’t all in a corner 2 months ago, these clowns tried to push us in that corner a little tighter. But we won’t go. We’re cleaning up, we’re sharing food and clithing and hope. And a smile for anyone who’ll take it. And i am writing a review to say i freaking love Hell’s Kitchen and Angel Food and the food trucks and Birch and D’Amico and Nong’s and Theresa’s and PAMP and all our friends who are just trying to hold it together a little bit longer.
Please. Hold it together a little bit longer. We need you as much as you need us. It’s a message to the whole twin cities.
Hang on, hang on, we can do this.
Kitchen closed 1.5 hours early due to there being few patrons. I wanted to place a to go order at 8:45 and was told the kitchen closed at 8:30. It would have been nice for the waiter to come to us to make sure we didn’t want anything else and explaining that the kitchen would be closing early.
Outstanding! Can’t wait to return after the Coronavirus settles. Love this place!
Our favorite breakfast place around! Great food, great drinks, great service!
We love this place. The food, as always, was amazing!
The French dip was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
We found hair in our food. The food was not great. We had heard such great things about this place. But we were not impressed. After finding hair in the food. It just ruined the rest of the visit.
Ham, cheese and pear sandwich excellent!!!!
Tasty food, great service, awesome atmosphere!
Great atmosphere and great food!! Will definitely be back again!
